Pale ale brewed with plentiful amounts of Apricots and Chamomile. A collaboration beer with Chef Cleetus Friedman of City Provisions.

Hoppy creation. Good drinkability. Hopcat detroit tap takeover.

Bottled 8/35/15; drank 9/21/15 @ the Yarchives.

Murky orange/red rust appearance.

A rough pour yielded a huge khaki head; a curtain of lace.

Fresh flowers, mild cinnamon & faint citrus notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Fresh flowers & mild cinnamon flavors up front; a faint bite on the lips. Interesting & very drinkable; I'd have another.

Thanks to JodiB for this one. 12oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very hazy (could barely see my fingers through it) brown-gold color with over an inch of white head that had good retention and decent lacing.

There was certainly apricot in the nose and what I'm assuming was the chamomile (I've never had chamomile tea, so I'm kinda guessing here). Couldn't really get any malt or grain coming from under the two lead players. On the tongue, pretty similar, but some base malts did poke through. The fruit and spice still dominated though.

The body was smooth and medium, with a semi-sweet finish. Drinkability was fine, but I likely wouldn't have two in a row. Overall, a pleasant enough brew, worth trying if you see it.

Drinking out of a beer stein, so I cant give much notes on look. Appears to be a hazy amber color. Smell and taste both are dominated by the chamomile. I guess I can find apricot if I search for it. The beer is creamy and easy drinking with little hop flavor to be found. This is a bit dissapointing for a pale ale. Not a bad beer if you like creamy and smooth. I like crisp, dank and bitter. Luckily my fiancée will drink the rest of the six pack as she loves it. Worth a try if you're curious about chamomile in a beer.
