I thought it might be important to include a growler review simply because this beer really falls off after oxidation, which in a MBBC growler doesn't take much time.

Upon the first pour, the head has dropped off a bit to one finger, leaving more of a thick foam upon dissipating and lacing is less, though still good.
Not much changes in the aroma, fortunately.
In the flavor, for whatever reason, a sharp tang is evident that isn't fresh.
From a growler, it would seem this beer boasts a smoothness that, while there is a bit, doesn't live up to the boast. This flattens out a little bit in a relatively short time.
generally, off the tap, this has much more to offer, but remains drinkable and isn't bad if consumed fairly quickly from a growler.

The appearance was a semi-dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off pretty quick. Not much lace. The aroma had some sweet grains, nuts, light amount of caramel/toffee malts and ended with a little bit of vanilla. The flavor was moderately sweet through the prior mentioned aromas. Just a hint of maple sweetness came out and ended up smoothing out the aftertaste fairly nice. Finish was somewhat quick, but malty smooth and sweet. The palate was about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Overall, pretty nice smoothed out maple brown ale. Though the maple sweetness wasn’t there too much, maybe that’s why I liked it as much as I did.
