An American standard, BBC APA is a full bodied and heavily hopped American Ale. It is copper in color and brewed with a blend of pale and crystal malts, balancing the citrus and pine flavors from large doses of American and English hops to create a very drinkable, hoppy ale. BBC APA is a hophead’s dream!

I'm trying this at their Theater District location. It poured a clear copper with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had Fresh hop notes which leaned slight citric. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle bitter citrus finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

BBC's APA is a light lacing with strong carbonation and very smooth palatable beer--a very good companion to a snacking lunch or dinner. Just the right amount of bitterness for an APA.

Underwhelming in every category. Could have been an old keg. See lots of this pouring in Kentucky restaurants, hope this brewery either steps it up or fades away.

Poured from a bottle into a point glass. Appears a dark amber color with a small of white had. The grass sticks around fit a while, and leaves good lacing.

The nose is very sweet with lots of caramel. Not a lot of good going on here, but it doesn't smell bad. The taste is more balanced, with the malts playing up front, and the hops coming through, bringing some pine and bitterness. The finish is a little sweet, but still has balance.

The mouthfeel is on par for a pale ale, but maybe a little sticky for me. Overall, it's a pretty average brew, and nothing that blew me away.

A- Brown hue with a small amount of head, some lacing
S- I sense a malty/hop aroma
T- Up front hops that does not allow for many other tastes
M- good amount of carbonation, does not linger all that much.
O- Nice APA that was worth the price of 9 dollars.

Appearance: Beautiful medium brown color, good carbonation, nice white/tan head that's thick and has good retention and lacing.

Smell: Pine/floral hops

Taste: Very pine and floral with sweetness but not overpowering, not much else.

Mouthfeel: lacks carbonation

This is a good quality beer. The pine needle taste is a little too much for me, but the beer is much better than average.
