Retro looking exterior and sign with a great selection of craft beer. As a BA mentioned priorly one of the few spots in the neighborhood that carry such a great selection of craft and bourbons.

Nice little shop on the SW side, there's not much else going on around here. It's a scrappy bunker of a liquor store on the outside, with an awesome vintage neon sign propped up on the side of the building. Parking lot can be full of sketchy types on occasion, just act natural.

Inside through the '60s supermarket automatic doors that recall simpler times, and through a chute of cashier lanes, you find yourself in the store itself. Most of the craft selection is on the left side of the store, in one aisle. Impressively the front side is mainly craft, and behind are random imports of unknown age. Craft side was more promising, with full lines from Founders, Bells, FFF, DFH (12 varieties), GLBC, Flossmoor, Stone, Lagunitas, Tyranena. In the coolers there's a good amount of craft, and esoteric swill in the form of multiple off-brand 40's. Evil Eye, check... Natty Daddy, check. Didn't see any limited stuff last time, the allocated items guy sounds like an employee, just sayin'.

Service was helpful and they were beer knowledgeable. Prices were pretty affordable and there was a surprisingly good beer selection, considering this area is virtually a beer desert. Archer is still king of the SW side though. Check out Pete's nearby for an awesome deli selection (killer chicharrĂ³n de lonja) and fresh produce.

2013: Lots of Pipeworks, a few seasonals, and dusty Lithuanian beers. Not the only game in town, as Maria's, Moreno's, and Archer are all about 3.5 miles from here.

Went in thinking not going to be able to find much beer beer here and walked out with the total opposite reaction. Great service and staff. The selection of micro brews is unpresidented by anything else in the entire southwest side. I been coming here for 5 years now and this is the best liquor store in town. Anything you would like to get that is avaliable they will try and get for you. There are two guys there that really know their microbrews and make the best recommendations both by the names of george. What I also like about this store is they carry alocated items such as bitches brew, bourbon county, and KBS but don't run out as fast as binny's. I would never go to another place for micro brews and spirts. The pricing is also very reasonable. I also recieved a free bag of chips with my purchase.
