A "double hopped" (dry hopped) unique American lager based on traditional European Pilsners with a crisp refreshing body and lots of taste. We add hops in the kettle and then again before finishing for aromatic quality.

Pours pale amber with a one finger white head. No lacing. Aroma is spicy malts. Taste is rich malts with just a touch of hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is fine for a lager. Has a lot in common with some of the better Canadian macro lagers. Could use another dose of hops to make it stand out from the crowd a bit more. A baby step up from most U.S. macro lagers. It has a slightly dry bitter finish. Freshness date on bottle is 12/2010. About three months from now.

Very light lager. Not sure why it’s called double hopped, there isn’t much bitterness at all to it (Only 15 ibu), so if anything it should be called minimally hopped even for a light lager. It’s sweeter than a normal lager, but not so sweet as to be unpleasant. Has a farm fresh / summery kind of vibe, almost like a saison without any of the spices, which makes me unsurprised that it’s from the Midwest. Nice light session lager, very drinkable and would be a much preferable choice for pre-gaming as compared to American mass produced light beers if you can find it for a good price. Nothing really special though.

Another random beer I got as an extra long ago that I would not recommend.

This beer took my platelet for beers to another level. I have had independent IPA's and other type of beer. But when I tried this beer one day, I never looked back. Even as I am writing this post, I am thinking about how great this beer tastes. I enjoy it and love it. Its very smooth and one of those beers you will remember

Poured from a 24 oz tallboy into an etched pint glass.
Clear gold color with a thin off-white head. Just a touch of lacing stretching up the side of the glass.
A little bit of floral hops on the nose, Saaz maybe, with some grain and sweet corn.
Mild but noticeable hop presence on the taste; faint pine, some earth and floral notes. Quickly gives way to fresh corn and moderate malt sweetness.
Medium bodied, a little heavy for a lager. Ends fairly clean. Could stand a bit more carbonation.
Overall it's pleasant. Cheap, better than BMC lager alternatives, but I'd rather have a NB Shift or a SA Noble Pils if I'm in the mood for a lager.
