Aroma: Peaty, earthy. Dark caramel, burnt sugar. Light fruit esters.

Appearance: Pours huge 3 finger fluffy off-white head. Brownish amber color, pinkish highlights. Clear, lots of tiny bubbles from can widget.

Flavor: Burnt sugar caramel. Bready malts. Dark fruit, prune maybe some fig. Light earthy peaty flavor stays on the tongue. Light chocolate near the end. No hop flavor. Very low bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Not sure the need for everything in a can to be nitrogen carbonated, but it does lend a lot of creaminess. Medium sweetness. Finishes ok, not dry or sweet. Alcohol present, enough to know it is on the higher end of the Scottishes scale.
Overall: A good beer for what it is, a malt forward low hopped beer. I would like a touch more complexity. I would like to see it finish a touch dryer. No flaws. Get this in the can, not the clear bottles you will enjoy it so much more.

Appearance: Rich copper/amber, very clear, little carbonation

Smell: Faintly hoppy, smelled like beer

Taste: Smooth and creamy with strong malt aftertaste

Mouthfeel: Surprisingly thick feel, carbonation pricks the tongue

Overall: The rich beautiful color of this beer in the clear glass bottle was what made me try it. It was smooth, easy to drink, and left a malt aftertaste behind. A very good beer.

Poured from nitro-tap into an English pint glass, with a cascade of bubbles and half-inch cream head.

The aroma was nutty and bready with a touch of sweet grain.

The taste was great: toffee, dried fruit, brown bread, and a touch of smoke. The mouthfeel of course, was creamy as with all nitros.

Great beer.

500ml bottle poured into an imperial pint.

Appearance is a clear medium brown with a 1.5 finger off-white head.

Smells a bit skunky presumably from the clear bottle. Otherwise there is some toffee and caramel present along with a slight hint of coffee. Some grassy hops are there too.

Flavor starts out with roasted malt along with some caramel and coffee. This then leads to a musty earthyness reminiscent of a wet basement. Light bitterness and some grassy hops come in towards the end.

Overall this is a really enjoyable beer and quite quaffable. I would like to try it on nitro sometime.

A: The beer looks nice with a copper body with a thick creamy head.

S: This has a nice amount of sweet malt and a different sort of fruit smell.

T:The taste is very nice with a strong amount of malt, but it because sort of a chocolate flavor. There is also a good amount of burnt caramel.

M: I am a sucker for nitro-tapped beer and this one is just so easy to drink. There is barely any crispness and it just drinks like water.

O: This is a nice quality beer and one of the better scottish ales I have had. I wish the smell was a little more malty, but other than the smell, it hits the spot. Just an overall good tasting and feeling beer.

A - Crystal clear, beautiful rich copper color. Nice head retention and great lacing. Very pretty beer.

S - Didn't notice much at first, but after I swirled it to check the lacing, a nice malty aroma came through with hints of apples or some fruit.

T - Nice maltiness with a decent balance with hops.

M - Creamy mouthfeel. Not too carbonated (wouldn't expect it to be). Nice body.

O - Only slightly reminiscent of the Scottish Ales I drank in Scotland, but nice. This would go nicely with something spicy (Indian perhaps?).
