Backlog. 500 ml bottle. Black in color. Little head, but it remains throughout. Tastes like a good U.K. stout. Not on a par with Samuel Smiths, but it’s very satisfying.

Nitro on draft.

Medium roasted quality, bit of creamy, dark fruit, dry, medium minus bitterness. Depth of coffee flavor. Medium mouthfeel. Hints of cocoa and milk chocolate. Restrained sweetness. With its ABV and flavor profile, quite close to an

Nitro can doesn't do this beer justice. Little aroma but great chocolate and vanilla flavour, almost marshmallow like. Not much roast but finishes slightly on the sweet side

Belhaven Scottish Stout. As I drink it, I'm picking up a lot of flavors - some coffee bitterness, some sweetness, roasted malt, and other things I can't identify. Not bad, would get it again.

Comes in a 16oz can. Good looking color. Enjoyed. Try 6

A - Pours a dark brown body with red highlights. Sports a one-finger head of thick foam with big bubbles, but not enough lace.

S - It smells of flowers, chocolate and molasses. Nice.

T - Tastes of flowers, fire, semi-sweet chocolate and molasses. Gets roastier as it warmed up.

M - Crisp, smooth with a dry finish. A light-to-medium-bodied beer. Thinner than I like.

D - Reliable Stout. Try 6.
