Pours a light pinkish colour with a fair bit of frothy fizzy head that disappears pretty quickly leaving no lacing. Smells tart and very much of raspberries.

Is very light on the mouth and tastes rather crisp and tart. Not too much sweetness. Has very much a rasberry aftertaste. I bought a 4 pack and will most likely finish them in quick succession. Perfect for a hot summer day.

Not bad but I've had better.

Was quite looking forward to this. Poured into a champagne flute, it looks awesome. Pale rose with a light pink frothy head. Champagne like fine bubbles shooting to the surface. Chicks'll dig it. A bit of spicy raspberry and a lick of that sweet yeast on the nose but not enough I'm afraid. Feels a little over-carbonated as in it is too prickly to pick up much flavour. A bit of tartness in the finish but there just isn't enough depth or complexity in here. Apparently this is supposed to be a framboise infused version of Barking Duck, but the Duck had way more depth and flavour than this. A bit of fun but that's all.

Barking Flamingo. This beer man. Wow. Barking Bob says to me "man it smells like band-aids and hotdog water".
You know it kinda does. And it kinda tastes a bit that way too. BUT I WANT MORE.
This was a few years back, so I'm going off memories here, as they don't make this amazing beer anymore. And never will, because they sold their soul to Milhouse.
This was my first introduction to a framboise, and I liked it. Slightly sour, a little tart, sweet raspberries but not too sweet. This beer was proper pink, and the bottle shops didn't know what to do with it. They were selling cartons for $20 because they were confused, we stocked up big time. It was the summer of barking. Everything was barking, barking cricket, barking moths, barking pork crackling, barking glass of water, Barking Craig, barking fucking everything.
This beer smells like it was forged in a horse stable. Poured into a glass by a surly duck that had just slapped a llama, hard. Also, for some reason the llama was wearing expensive perfume and cheap lipstick. But the taste, the taste is what's important. Not mouthfeel or appearance (looks like a beer, feels like a beer), ok maybe this time it didn't look like a beer but you get my point.
The taste, man, it was so long ago, I can't accurately describe it, but I know it was good. It was real good, and I'll never forget you, you'll be eternally etched into my top 10 all time beers, you saucy Barking Flamingo.

Picked up at Vintage Cellars, who claim it's brewed for them.
a) Looks like moscato. Pillowy head dies quickly, leaving a glowing salmon pink wine-like appearance.
s) Again, could be drinking moscato. Soft fruity nose, very faint hessian or cork note. Touch of lemon.
t) Slight lemony tartness, followed by berry fruit. Fairly straightforward.
m) Almost a surprise when taken in the mouth, when one is subconsciously expecting moscato. Soft & lightly creamy. Finishes dry & abruptly with little back palate.
d) Might appeal to certain market segments, but not my cup of tea.

This beer pours a pink crystal colour which leaves a one finger head with no lacing at all,it has a nice aroma of raspberries but nothing else really gets thru,it has a really thin mouthfeel and basically tastes like a weak pilsner with raspberries in it not the greatest effort by this good brewery.
