Stopped by here during my last visit to Springfield. The building has a brick exterior with lots of windows and iron railings. The main room is all open and centered around a bar with multiple tv screens. The main room is directly bordering the brewing equipment, which I always enjoy. Service readily offered free samples of all their beer and there are at least 5 on tap at any time. I especially enjoyed their IPA and Pale Ale offering. My group only ordered appetizers, but they came quick and were pretty darn good (large portions for cheap). Bartender can talk about all of their brews and answer any questions you may have. Overall, I really enjoyed this stop and look forward to returning. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Very nice brewpub in cool historic space. The staff was very friendly, service great, and the food was very good. All the beers were very solid. None were disappointing, but none stood out as spectacular. They are very good at what they are trying to be. it's a nice restaurant, where you'll be served well, have a good meal with a couple of decent pints of quality in house brews.

An OK place to visit when in Springfield. Beers were average and food menu was what you'd expect from a place like this. When we visited, they weren't sourcing locally for any foods or ingredients in the beer.

Not a bad place to visit, but their are several better places to visit first.

Came on a Saturday morning/noon. Lively, noisy & loved the bones of the place. Loads of brick & little beer memorabilia. Seemed a bit of a slice in time of a 90s brewpub. A few TVs around to watch some games

The American Strong Ale (Hop Lobster) & Maibock were pretty good, not great

Friendly & somewhat attentive service

9 beers on tap, a few of them lagers, one chillebeer. They also had a bottled barrel aged imp stout on sale

Food was typical pubgrub, albeit a bit pricey

Food & beer were pricey

I would go again if in the area, but wouldn't be in too big a hurry

Whilst I wasn't disappointed in Springfield Brewing Company, I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to visit. The food and atmosphere were good, but the beer average at best. If you're in the area or passing through I'd stop, but I wouldn't make it a point, especially with so many superior breweries nearby in St. Louis.

Located in downtown Springfield. It is quite large, taking up two floors. There is a lot of chrome and glass but it is not a sterile environment. In the back is the brewing operation, spotless to say the least. The place has a nice character, especially with all of the mugs over the main bar. There were a number of locals which seem to be part of the local mug club. Service was very good and the bartender was very knowledgeable about the beers they serve. They serve about 5-6 year round beers and a couple of seasonal or special brews. The menu has a good selection of pub grub or meals and there are usually daily specials to choose from. Well worth checking out if you are ever in the area.
