From a bottle of 1 Pint, 6 fluid oz. A very white head forms about 1/4" inch thick. The color is pale yellow with a chill haze. It has the appearance of a Belgian wit. There is a blueberry and wheat smell with more wheat present in the odor.

From the label: "Using Old World methods, small batches of this fresh Micro-Brewed beer are handcrafted in a steam fired kettle with only the finest igredients and Pure Desert Water. Brewed and Bottled in the heart of Canyonlands". Isn't desert water an oxymoron?

The taste of blueberries is very slight adding a touch of sweetness. Not as fruity or sweet as a lambic. Some taste of grains. Low carbonation. Leaves a bit of a sticky sensation in the mouth after several sips. A little sourness left on the tongue after finish. It seems blueberries flavors are tough to pull off as a great beer. This one isn't great but not awful either. Doesn't try to be bold but isn't offensive. Not sure on the alcohol content but can't be high since it was sold in a regular Utah market. Their state laws only allow higher alcohol in state run stores

a: murky yellow gold w/ just a light circle of white foam.

s: light blueberry; raw grain; yeasty very light bitterness

t: light blueberry; raw grain; yeasty very light bitterness; straw; light wateriness

m: very light and a little but of straw syrupy cloying w/ medium refreshing carb

d: while I was drinking this, I heard a guy next to me ask the server about beers, and the server said that he never drank this pansy stuff. normally i agree and i would probably have said the same thing. However, if you are doing what most other people are doing in Moab, viz., hiking in the desert, etc. then you will be pleased to have a light and refreshing beer like this. not a great beer but a good one for the situation.

On-tap at the brewpub: Clearish lighter pale yellow color with about a finger high white cap that faded some to a empty fizz and minimal spots of lace stick. Aroma is sweet whith a wheat presence and some blueberry tartness thats pretty fresh, crisp, and clean. Taste is failr boring, no real long lasting flavor or body. Sweet, crisp, light, slight fruitiness and blueberry hints. Nothing to write home about but its better then you'd think. Feel is thin and closing in on watery, but the sweetness isn't too bad. You know you're drinking a fruity flavored beer and thats that.
