L- Cloudy lemon yellow, absolutely no head
S- Citrus and vanilla. Very pleasant
T- A shandy on steroids. The barrel masks what would be ultra cloying sweetness, and complements the sweetness that remains.
F- Slightly acidic and tart. Ultra refreshing. 7% well-masked.
O- One of the best shandies out there. The barrel is an excellent touch. Would be a perfect summer relaxing beer.

Pale yet bright yellow with sticky yet creamy lacing and minimal head that is basically a thin collar.
Lemon, lime and wheat on the nose. As it ages more in the cellar, Arnold Palmer elements of honey lemon tea come forward.
Tastes like spiced rum and sprite, basically a mixed drink cocktail. It's actually very smooth, rounded out more than a soda, yet still tingly and refreshing--in a way somehow coming across like a health drink. I can't explain it, but again I get the Arnold Palmer notes of lemon tea, with fresh sticky honey. A bit more here than the nose, there's a sting of bourbon and a touch of wood in taste, but not enough to really make a huge impact. It does increase as it warms though.

Prefer the regular version. Tastes just didn't go well together.

A: has a head that dies almost immediately with little to no lacing, color is a straw gold and ever so slightly cloudy.
N: TONS of citrus fruits! Followed by citrus fruits with a faint hint of citrus fruits.
T: basically follows the nose with perhaps an after thought of tequila? There is a very slight burn on the way down so you know that it's there and you get some of the barrel on the back end, crazy refreshing.
M: very bubbly, perfect amount of carbonation for the style.
O: I'm not the biggest shandy fan but the folks at hoppin frog knocked this way out of the park, awesome summer beer and I'll happily drink this again
