Notes:
This new beer style is a Belgian Pentuple, and it is a two time medal winner (GOLD in 2021, BRONZE in 2019) at the Great American Beer Festival! It's just like a Trippel that's somewhat hoppy, light in color, and has its signature fruity and complex character. But our Pentuple is super-charged for more flavor, and ultimately more enjoyment at 15.1% ABV!!

250ml can from Tavour. Dark copper colored pour with a small offf-white head. Bourbon comes through in the aroma, along with some sweet malts, caramel, plums. Taste brings subtle bourbon notes to he brew, complimenting the nice toffee malts and fruity flavors. ABV was more apparent in this variant.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a medium to dark reddish orange with a thin, fizzy head that dissipates to almost nothing with a thin ring of bubbles around the glass. Aroma of caramel malt, vanilla, dried light stone fruit, toffee. Flavor is dry candi and caramel malt, raisins, mild dried peach, vanilla, clove and more caramel. Sweet at first, but drier finish; hot. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess and light carbonation. Delivers what it promises, a tripel-ish candi malts and a touch of Belgian spice and plenty of dried fruit. Skates on the edge of almost cloying sweetness, but ultimately has a surprisingly mildly sweet, almost dry finish. Lots of caramel notes. Reminds me a few big wheatwines I've had in the past, except for the clove to make it tripel style. Hot, but with a rich body that supports the high ABV. Could use a bit more carbonation, but it still had satisfactory mouth feel despite the near still pour. Wise choice to can this in an 8 ounce serving; that's about right. Recommended for big ale fans.

Poured from a small can at fridge temp. Pours a nice golden brown with almost no head. Good carbonation though. Nose is toffee, figs, vanilla, candy malts, raisins, and a bit of booze. Fairly light on the nose, to be honest.
The taste is insane. Very aggressive. Toffee, candy, bourbon, vanilla, wood, fresh figs, brown sugar, and green grapes. Boozy for sure. This is intense and tasty.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied. Aftertaste is nice and sweet. Overall, an absolutely stunning beer.

A stunning presentation of beautifully clear copper-acorn would be even more perfect if the short khaki head didn't instantly fizzle out to a mead-like surface.
The most savory of the BA "Pentuple" bunch, smell is toasted pumpernickel, Werther's and sticky toffee pudding, while taste is far more assertive and bold, with a prickly, peppery whiskey that cuts through layers of caramels before leading into a charred biscuit exhale.
Semi-dry, lightly sticky, and quite warming, so much so that it quickly becomes numbing to the palate.
