Poured into a perfect pint.
4.0 A: Black color. One and a half fingers of tan creamy/frothy head. Retention is pretty good for a coffee beer and a good bit of lacing is left.
3.5 S: The nose is a bit mild - even the coffee is weaker than I'd expect. Still, what is there, is very pleasant. Roastiness, grainy maltiness, and hints of chocolate. Not a lot of complexity, but good enough.
3.25 T: The taste is even more mild. Same flavors - coffee, grain, roast, and chocolate - but there's less depth than in the nose.
3.0 M: Light to lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Not much creaminess. Though creaminess is tough to get when coffee is in play, I still expect a bit more. Goes down easy though.
3.25 D: It's not bad, but I don't see a re-buy anytime in the near future.

From Zombier. In Teku glass. Playing Bloo Kid 2, then watching Vikings 5x08. Just what its name suggest. Silky, smooth, with plenty tasty roasted coffee (and vanilla) and low in alcohol (but full in flavors and feel)

Had on nitro at Hoppin' Frog. Certainly recommend. It was a starbucks Cold brew with a sweet smooth texture. Amazing. Rich and creamy with mocha hints.

22oz bottle poured into a small tumbler/wine style glass. Very dark color, almost black with a creamy off white head which was small and did not linger too long on top. Coffee scent is heavy in the nose along with a slight nutty scent. Coffee beans is the main flavor with a light roasted malt aftertaste. The Coffee flavor dissipates as the beer warms and a slightly creamy and bitter chocolate flavor take over. Very drinkable beer that I personally preferred as it was cold more than as it warmed towards room temperature.
