Dark brown, nearly black body; thick, foamy, light brown head. Strong coffee aroma; charred grain; chocolate notes. Big coffee flavors; milk chocolate; slowly building yet lingering bitterness and touch of astringency. Mouthfeel is mostly heavy with a bittersweet finish, smooth on the palate.
Coffee-forward initial impressions that slip into a mostly rich and chocolaty tasting. Big and complex and some interesting depth make for a very enjoyable porter tasting experience.

From Zombier. In Teku glass. Playing Bloo Kid 2, then watching Vikings 5x08. Just what its name suggest. Silky, smooth, with plenty tasty roasted coffee (and vanilla) and low in alcohol (but full in flavors and feel)

Had on nitro at Hoppin' Frog. Certainly recommend. It was a starbucks Cold brew with a sweet smooth texture. Amazing. Rich and creamy with mocha hints.

22oz bottle poured into a small tumbler/wine style glass. Very dark color, almost black with a creamy off white head which was small and did not linger too long on top. Coffee scent is heavy in the nose along with a slight nutty scent. Coffee beans is the main flavor with a light roasted malt aftertaste. The Coffee flavor dissipates as the beer warms and a slightly creamy and bitter chocolate flavor take over. Very drinkable beer that I personally preferred as it was cold more than as it warmed towards room temperature.
