500ml Flip-top bottle, well in date: the third beer in my German and lager based tasting evening last week.

Very pale, golden body, light yellow really. On top a head of snowy white big bubbles which produced some good lacing.

Odourless, like most lagers/pilsners: gets my regular score of 3 for a non-smelling one.

Dry up front, but becoming a little more malty and forgiving after the first sip. A Mr Average is most aspects really. Nothing wrong with it, but lacks that punch or zeal to impress on any front.

Oh dear. I figured an unheard of pilsner from Germany would be a good idea, but I was proven wrong.

Light yellow with a thin white head, poor retention and no lace. Grassy and mildly buttery with a harsh cidery/acetone character. Not much else going on, this is rather disappointing. The palate's the same, opening with a cidery and solvent-like character with mild lemony and grassy hops. Not very good. Dry, mildly bitter on the finish that just lacks any flavor. Light in body and highly carbonated, this beer is OK in the mouthfeel dept, but disappointing otherwise.

Yellow greenish color, clean, white foam, more than decent.
Grassy smell, with light cereal notes.
Grainy and cereal in the mouth too, full, but still pleasant, again grassy notes.
A bit too full for a pils, no dryness.
Drinkable and hoest, though.
Malty aftertaste, with som egrassy hp, not of the best quality. Full.

From the half liter bottle, it pours golden amber with a nice fluffy white head. Very light scent that touches the nose. The taste is also very light, perfect for a hot summer day!

BB 18-01-06. Quiet good lasting head but a pale golden beercollor and a beer that's far from clear. Nose is very malty, litle sweetish and a hopnote that also brings some citrussy in this beer. Overal quiet good and fresh despite it's looks. Taste is very malty and low dosed hops. Far from a pils to me; way to much sweet and full maltyness and only half the hops it needs to make it fine. Well drinkable and full mouthfeel though litle sticky make it an enjoyable german brew.

Poured a creamy bright-white head that left some decent lace. Pale straw colored beer looks about right although it could use a couple more bubbles. Faint aroma that is hard to pin down. There is a little bit of sweet pale malt, and then something funky in the way of hops like pineapple and tin. It's not bad, but definitely weird. The flavor is a bit closer to what I was expecting. There is a nice lightly sweet malt base with biting herbal hops on top. Finishes dry with a lingering bitterness. There is nothing really wrong with it, but it's not that great either.

Half Litre bottle, poured into pint shaker.

A: Golden, clear, medium head, moderate retention left some lacing.

S: Malt, noble hops and a hint of grass.

T: Slightly sweet from the malt, hints of grass and charcoal.

M: Low to moderate carbonation, light body, smooth enough to go down well.

O: A typically drinkable, uncomplex Pilsener, one to drink rather than spend any great length of time discussing.

appearance: Clear even keel beer. A nice looker if you ask me. Not too vigorous on the head

smell: A nice more subtle hop smell than a usual pils. Pleasant makes you actually want to drink this brew.

taste: Smooth, you can taste the Haltertau vs other kinds of hops not over powering and keeps a sweetness from the malt. Really a good flavor and I enjoy it.

mouthfeel: Stout for a pils. Really carries just enough but not too much. I like the way this brew feels

overall: Normally I am not a hop head but this is the acceptation to the rule a great beer one to be picked up and enjoyed.
