Named after the legendary Koehler poster boy, this blonde ale is golden in appearance and full in body. Smooth and delicious!

I tried this beer at the brewery. It was part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had grain and subtle lemon notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain and biscuit base and slight citrus highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it was a good beer.

As the last person who reviewed this mentioned, there used to be some of flavors in this beer along with many of their other offerings. Thanks to new head brewer Tate Warren (as well as Matt Allyn from Voodoo & Jason Lavery from Lavery Brewing for helping to clean and ready the equipment) these beers are much cleaner and better than they were previously.
There's no big twist on this Blonde. It's not aggressively hopped or high in alcohol. That being said, it's a clean a refreshing Blonde with no off flavors that is perfect for summer drinking, or those who prefer a lighter beer. Fans of wheat beers would probably enjoy this one.

A - Poured a hazy yellow color with a white head that leaves lacing
S - Is of slightly sweet malt with a touch of hops
T - Has a sweet grainy malt taste at first but finishes very badly with an ashy flavor
M - This beer has a medium body with medium carbonation to it
D - Not good to me I don't like beer that tastes like I'm drinking it from an ashtray I don't know if they have dirty lines or what not a good taste

A - Yellow-tan cloudy body. No head. Minimal lacing.
S - Slightly floral, with wheat and hop notes.
T - Simple, fruit and very light hops hidden behind some malt. Reminded me of a belgian white.
M - Smooth, somewhat creamy. Substantial
D - Easy to drink. Another crowd pleaser.
It's hard to remember everything about it since it was last night and I didn't take any notes. But from what I do remember, it was pretty decent. Not the best, but not the worst. Worth a try.

Pour reveals a cloudy copper color with a thin white head. Aroma was weak but slight hop/pine was present. The taste was very pleasant, malt, hops in good balance. While the samples I had were served too cold, I found it quite refreshing. As the brew warmed, the flavors melded and created a much smoother taste than the first sips would indicate. Very drinkable, suitable for almost any occasion.

The beer pours a gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a light pale malt scent along with a mild hop aroma. It's dry and moderately bitter. The taste is decent. It has a grainy pale malt flavor that goes down easy and finishes with a nice hop presence. This is a nice refreshing beer. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a decent blonde ale. It's light with some good hop character. It's nothing spectacular, but it' an easy drinker.

Appears with a clear golden body and off white cream hued head leaves nice even lacing with decent retention noted. Aroma brings light cereal grains full bready tones with a touch of hops evident grassy herbal combo at that. Flavor has mild sweetness with a bready biscuit and light alcohol tone finishing with mild bitterness and herbal clean hop finish. Mouthfeel is good with even carbonation and a lighter body. Drinkability is definitely refreshing and more flavorful than the typical golden brew yet staying in the safe zone designed to be pitched at the Bud/Miller/Coors drinker.
