Effervescent and golden, a shade darker than most czech pilsners. The smell is typically czech in profile- crisp, with floral hops and subdued malt. The taste is crisp and rounded and very balanced. Soft rounded malt in the background. The mouthfeel is very soft, but with a nice level of carbonation. Very nice, if not world shaking.

Format: a standard 330mL brown bottle with a pretty standard Euro macro label.

Appearance: looks like a cheap lager too. No head either

Aroma: smells of sweet malts and a touch of hops. A bit cheap.

Taste: tastes like it smells. A fairly poor-quality Euro lager.

Aftertaste: lingers for a short period before fading. Fair for a lager.

Mouth feel: moderate in body with a moderate carbonation. Feels a bit flat.

Overall: there are better lager / pilsner beers available in this price range. I don't think I'll be bothering with this one again.

This was a very fresh beer, it had been bottled less than a month ago.
Nice choppy head which diminished slowly and left nice lacing. It was a deep golden brass color.
It smelled sweet and malty with a slight grassy hoppy under tone
Taste went from a sharp clean hop bitterness to a full malty round mouth feel, but then finished dry and a little harsh.
This is a nice beer in its look and aroma. It is unfortunate that although it started well it finished rather harshly which really unbalanced the beer and sullied what was a very promising Czech Pilsner.

This sample just seemed to smell and taste better, thus a higher overall score.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Golden yellow body topped with a thick, chunky, creamy white head. Lightly toasted malt grain and somewhat grassy smell. Grainy flavor with a smooth hop bitterness at the finish. Light and smooth body; crisp, clean, dry finish.

Krušovice doesn't break any new ground for the style yet is certainly quite drinkable and solid representation of the style.

Pours a deep golden color, almost copper, with large, thick head. Aroma is pretty weak but mostly sweet malts with a little hay and grassy hoppiness evident. Taste is sweet up front, almost candy-like, followed up by a strong grassy hop flavor with a light but pleasant bitter finish. The palate is a strong point of this beer - light to medium bodied with a slighty oily texture, there is also a fine carbonation giving it a soft mouthfeel. A very good representative of the style.

Light amber, foamy white head, some lacing and good clarity.

Sweet malt aroma & lager hops along with a bit of corn and grain. Other adjuncts also feature and there is a very slight skunky smell at the end.

Corn and grassy hops along with a semi-sweet taste and touches of citrus. It's not at all skunky tasting despite the aroma hinting at this and the finish is little bit bitter although very crisp.

Light medium bodied with a slightly rough feel to the drink and it had the normal lager bitterness with a slightly dry but crisp finish and medium carbonation.

This one was a average to slightly above average pilsener although miles ahead of most of the mass produced garbage you find in UK supermarkets these days.

Appearance: Orange honey color with a foaming discontinuous 1/4 inch head. The head forms a ring of lacing around the sides of the glass. This beer is lightly carbonated. In terms of sheer pleasure to look at I am very pleased with this beer. It is way more substantial looking in terms of body than many of the European beers I am used to.

Smell: From the first sniff I get a more full hop aroma than I am used to from European beers. I just spent the last week trying an assortment of Pilsners and lagers from the continent and nothing I have had compares to Krusovice in terms of sheer aromatic hops. I get scents of dried apricot and honey. The other portion of hops is earthy, herbal, floral, and spicy. This is very complex. The malts are mainly grain with hints of caramel as the beer warms.

Taste: This beer has somewhat of a dry taste but it finishes sweet. The first sip is of a grainy malt that gives way to both a sweet and spicy hop profile. There is a taste of fruit and herbal tea (think chamomile). This is a semi bitter beer. And, I mean it. I am very impressed with the bittering hops used in this beer. The balance is solid.

Mouthfeel: A light, carbonated infusion of strong hop and malt flavors from the continent.

Overall: If Imperial ever meant something it was this light alcoholic beer that contains a ton of character and flavor. I would feel fine enjoying this beer with a nice heavy dinner in which I needed a full flavored beer to wash down my meal.

Brought a can of Krusovice Imperial home from a recent trip to Europe. The beer was golden cleal with foamy white head to start, which then faded. There was some initial lacing but eventually that ceased as well. The smell was malt and maybe a hint of some czech hops. The taste begins with a smooth malt taste that just stays throughout the whole taste. Mouthfeel was good had nice carbonation and was medium bodied....smooth. Overall was a good beer and would recommend it.

Served in a pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a lemon gold, with a with a medium bubbled bodied frame. Head is nothing crazy maybe 1/4", white.

Smell: Hoppy and creamy, with light scents that fair well with the nostrils.

Taste: A real smooth beer that tasting it you realize what smooth is. Creamy like most marzens but it obviously it falls into it's own category. Light bitterness which has almost a milk feel to it.

Mouth: Medium feels a bit light at times but just enough to satisfy the pallets.

Overall: Honestly I am impressed, poruing it into my glass i was just thinking ehh "this is going to be okay" and to my surprise "YUM!". For around two bucks a bottle at your local beer spot, you got yourself a winner. Salud!

500ml bottle. Pokal glass. Enjoyed several times since 2005. Deep golden color. White, small size bubbled froth. Close & lasting crown. Lacing rings on sides. Sweet mildy malt aroma, sulphur hints. Gentle bitter upfront. Malty palate. Slightly peppery in the middle, subtle astringency. Dry hoppy finish.Light body, soft carbonation.

I purchased a bottle of Krušovice Imperial for $2.79 USD in Los Angeles, CA/USA.
Look: Krušovice Imperial has light foam.
Smell: Krušovice Imperial has the aroma of both metal and wheat.
Taste: Krušovice Imperial has an ironic mix of flavours consisting of both metal and wheat.
Feel: Krušovice Imperial had the feeling of well carbonated drinking water.
Overall: People who seek a beverage that tastes of both metal and wheat will enjoy Krušovice Imperial.

A: Clear yellow gold with 2 fingers of foamy, bubbly head. Lots of bubbles.

S: Fruit, grass, spices

T: Light malty flavor. Clean and refreshing. Real smooth pils.

M: A good amount of nice carbonation. Great tingle.

O: Another refreshing pilsner. Better than some I've had (recently).

500ml bottle served in a standard shaker pint.
bottled date: 04-15-10.

pours a clear, pale golden-yellow with a big (almost 3 fingers), puffy white head that demonstrates modest retention and lacing.

nose is mild, mostly consisting of a grainy/malty aroma with some faint hoppy notes loitering in the background. more of the same transitions to the flavor, with a decided but not overwhelming bitterness to it. crisp, light-bodied mouthfeel. could easily do a few of these. overall, nothing to go wild for, but a nice, unobtrusive pilsner - admittedly not one of my favorite styles. you could do worse.
