On tap, poured into a stein. The aroma is sweet lemon, muffin dough, a hint of spice, a mild light honey, and a touch of barnyard. The beer is a clear, brilliant gold with a white, light foam head that has okay retention and light lace. The taste is a medium bitter and light sweet. It's oily and waxy with a fizzy carbonation and a light body. Flavors of cornbread, minerals, and dough are noted with a finish that's crisp and clean with a light spice. The aftertaste is cloying with waxy bitter stone fruit and minerals.

A: pours a crystal clear, dark gold colour with a 2 finger white head that has decent retention and leaves some very nice lacing on my glass.

S: lots of grassy hops, a touch of sweet bready malts and just a bit of spice as well.

T: the crispness of the hops comes out up front followed by a bready, nutty finish that is spicy, dry and far from sweet. Very refreshing.

M:light and crisp, excellent carbonation and a very smooth, very dry finish that tingles the palate.

D: this is a pretty darn good little czech pils. I'm loving the dryness of this one. It's very easy to drink and is highly refreshing. I can see myself having a lot of this beer this summer.

Pours nice amber colour with no/little head.
Not very strong smell, mostly grassy and hoppy.
Taste pretty much same as nose, grassy with a little bitterness. I didn't really like the finish though, it's like almoust too bitter.
Kinda drinkable beer with medium carbonation.

Overall, it's not bad, i would have it again on ocasion, but I'm a bit dissapointed with it, because this brewery has much better choices.

The beer is a golden color with a white head. The head faded pretty quickly for me. I could smell a light grassy/hoppy aroma. I couldn't pick up much of a malt flavor when I tasted it. The hops came out in the aftertaste, with a strong (but good) hoppy, grassy flavor. I felt like there was a bit of a creamy texture to the beer, which I didn't expect but found pleasing.

A: Clear yellow gold with 2 fingers of foamy, bubbly head. Lots of bubbles.

S: Fruit, grass, spices

T: Light malty flavor. Clean and refreshing. Real smooth pils.

M: A good amount of nice carbonation. Great tingle.

O: Another refreshing pilsner. Better than some I've had (recently).

Had on tap in Tanks Tap Room Tampa Florida, one of his regular imports. Served in chunky dedicated Krusovice Glass tankard, is medium dark, maybe a little darker than the usual Pilsner, though had little head. Aroma is what would be expected of a typical pilsner, clean, maybe a little more malty than some, some floral and yeasty hints. Taste is good, fair body, and good texture for this style of beer, smooth and malty to start, but good balance of bitterness and hops in the finish, very tasty and refreshing. Easy to drink and very enjoyable, with plenty of character, more so than some other more popular pilsners. Strangely, I have never seen this beer in any form in England, yet we get Staropranen, Czech Bud, and most of the other well known Czech Pilsners, which is a great shame, as I would be more than happy to buy it, if it tastes the same from bottle as it does on tap from the samples I have had.

This beer was poured from a 500ml bottle at 40º with a born on date on the back label. It produced a slight, white, foamy head which left a little lacing while disappearing. A few small bubbles were still evident after 5 minutes. There was a slight gold coloring with tinges of orange.

Malt and noble hops are detectable at the very first encounter. This is a good example of an attractable pilsner bouquet.

The taste was clean with some sharpness. A slight bitterness could be attributable to the amount of hops.

The taste of malt lingered in the mouth and seemed to marry quite well with the hops. Although this was slightly sharp and bitter there was nothing off in the way it bounced around before being swallowed.

This beer was over a year old according to the born on date but still had a lot left. Lacing continued to impress and the total package was very well put together.

Golden color with a head that didnt last long and left no lacing. Smells of grain and bread with a very faint carmel smell. Taste starts smooth and has a very bitter and heavily carbonated end with some pine and citrus flavors. Over all it has a sour taste that I didnt enjoy.

Poured from a 500 ml.bottle, golden yellow with foamy white head that turns to a decent collar and mild sticky lacing.Very fresh aroma with hops and grass coming through,a little peppery in there too.Taste is refreshing and clean with fresh grains and grass coming at you and a peppery bite to it and solid bitterness finishing it off,dry aftertaste at the very end and the pepper there too once again.Medium to full body with good amount of carbs in there, those bubbles seem endless, well worth a try, good brew, quite enjoyable to me.

Serving Type: 1pt .9fl oz bottle

Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange w/ no head but some visible carbonation. No lacing

Smell: Fresh grain and a touch of spice. Very subtle on the nose

Taste/mouthfeel: Starts w/ a big malty crisp flavour that gives way to a slight sweetness at the end of the beer. Malty bread and a touch of hops is what I get out of this beer...sometimes I get a slight smoke flavour. Rather interesting. Very clean tasting and cleanses the palate easily

Drinkability: Enjoyable enough Pilsner that I would have again

12 oz portion of a 16.9 oz bottle poured into a czech pilsner.

A - piss like BMC lager color, no head to speak of save for a thin off-white halo on the meniscus of the beer.

S - grass, corn, other grains, and a slight, (slight!) fruitiness (at least I think so)

T - corn, straw, grass, metal. It seems like a less shitty BMC taste. Not great, but very drinkable.

M - awful

D - if I wanted to get drunk, this would be something to drink. it goes down easy, it's not filling, and it doesn't taste awful like other macro lagers.

Served from a 16.9 oz bottle into an SA Lager glass.

Pours an unattractive dirty brass, with a nice white finger head. Head hangs around for a while before remaining as a nice floating film. Nose is grainy - pretty faint.

Taste is a bit metallic, but a nice lager flavor lies underneath. Fairly biting carbonation, with some stickiness afterwards.

This is a nice session beer - but other than that it doesn't really offer anything. It's actually quite filling.

Very nice and subtle Czech lager.

Appearance- golden yellow with little bubbles. Not too heady.

Smell- very mild hop character. Sweet grain

Taste- very easy going down with a little hop flavor aftertaste.

Mouthfeel- easy on the palate and even easier going down

Drinkability- could drink quite a few of these in a sitting. Great in a bottle, but better on draft. I have only seen it on draft in the Czech Republic, but maybe some pub carries it here in the states.

This beer is very good!!! This beer really took me by surprise. It is light, as a good Pilsner. A real Staple in Pilsner beer, probably as good as Pilsner Urquell. I thought this beer was really good. It was very thin, but good. The taste was very good as well with hints of citrus and is semi bitter.

16.9 oz bottle, blank born by date on back.

Pours a deep, rich gold with decent head. Diminishes fairly fast, with minimal lacing. Low carbonation as well, bubbles were gone very quick.
Initial aroma of lemons, and sweetness. Followed by a sweet, tart taste, but after its down, leaves an earthy, biscuity, very dry hop taste. The overall taste was also somewhat on the flat side due to the low carbonation. Not a horrible czech beer, but I'm sure there are better

Looked fantastic after the pour: a golden yellow-orange color with a big, white, fluffy head that bubbled down very slowly to a lace across the whole top of the beer. The smell was decent, a bit of grassy hops and a lot of bready malts. I was not much of a fan of the taste: up front is was the bready malts again, plus some other grainy tastes, which to me was kind of bland. There was some hoppiness at the end, but it was more of a small fizzle of taste rather than a compliment. It was somewhat sweet, but in a way that left the beer feeling a little too heavy and syrupy for me, despite the thin and well carbonated mouthfeel. All in all, I think there are a lot better Czech pilseners out there.

appearance: dusky amber gold with a pleasant head

smell: rich almost woody nuts, slightly citrus around the edges

taste: Nice sweet and with just enough back bone to be hearty, not bad at all

mouthfeel: although a bit watery in the end I like it a lot. Not something I can honestly describe accurately its new and good. You really should try

overall: I like it and its honestly something you have to try, it was a surprise, all I can say its pils with a surprisee

A - poured from a 500ml bottle into glass. The beer is amber in color and the head dissipates very quickly.

S - very metallic with light citrus notes

T - first sip is nice, tastes grainy, however becomes increasingly metallic thereafter

M - nice carbonation, smooth

D - okay

It's a decent beer. Has strong metallic element similar to what I remember a Heineken tasting like, but much better. Would recommend trying out.

Glassware-Pilsner glass
Appearance-Poured into the glass and got a golden colored beer that had a nice white frothy head that said "drink me up".
Smell-The smell had an inviting flavor of hops and a sweeter scent that lingered.
Taste-The taste of this beer wasn't what I was expecting consideing the appearance. it was average at best nothing to memorable here.
Mouthfeel/Drinkability- This beer is easy to drink no surprises here. If I am ever in that area of the world I don't know if I would try this particular beer but never say never.

I purchased a bottle of Krušovice Imperial for $2.79 USD in Los Angeles, CA/USA.
Look: Krušovice Imperial has light foam.
Smell: Krušovice Imperial has the aroma of both metal and wheat.
Taste: Krušovice Imperial has an ironic mix of flavours consisting of both metal and wheat.
Feel: Krušovice Imperial had the feeling of well carbonated drinking water.
Overall: People who seek a beverage that tastes of both metal and wheat will enjoy Krušovice Imperial.

My friend Matt was on a journey 'round the world (England, Greece, Iceland, Germany, Czechoslovakia, etc.), and of all the beers he could bring me from those few great brewing countries, he brings me this sekačka pivo (which, according to my online translator, is Czech for "lawnmower beer"). That said, it was quite warm enough for me yesterday, and I had spent way too much time trying to tame my nephew's at the county fair. So it worked.

Appearance: Those crazy Czechs have got the pee-pee chic of American macro lagers nailed. Put that side by side with Bud, Coors, or the urine sample that someone had put in an apple juice bottle and stuck in the squadroom fridge on that episode of "Hill Street Blues", and you'd be hard pressed to say what was what.

Smell: It's there, but it's reluctant. That weird funky lager yeast smell that I find difficult to label in terms other than "gym sock", and a very faint grassiness from the hops.

Taste: Lager-y. Nothing to differentiate this from a Rainier (although, truth be known, I'd rather have the Rainier). Slight malt backbone that is overwritten by the gym sock yeast, and zero hop presence.

Mouthfeel: A bit thick, actually. Too thick for the style, and it didn't warm up well.

Drinkability: Drink it fast and furious on a summer day after an assload of yard work, and this would be perfect. That said, you can get a half-rack of Rainier for about $7, which is probably quite a bit cheaper than the plane ticket to Czechoslovakia. Although, if you're going to go there for this specific beer, then my admonitions about Rainier will fall on deaf ears.

Pours a deep golden color, almost copper, with large, thick head. Aroma is pretty weak but mostly sweet malts with a little hay and grassy hoppiness evident. Taste is sweet up front, almost candy-like, followed up by a strong grassy hop flavor with a light but pleasant bitter finish. The palate is a strong point of this beer - light to medium bodied with a slighty oily texture, there is also a fine carbonation giving it a soft mouthfeel. A very good representative of the style.
