This bottle comes at only 6.3%abv., with a different beer label than the one shown above; BB 29/11/2008, served chilled in Hapkin's tulip-shaped bowl sniffer.

A: translucent, dark-golden to amber in colour, coming with a medium-thick white fluffy head settling to a thin blanket on top of moderate and constant flows of carbonation.
S: sweet lemon-syrup, sour-sweet yeast drink, flat-textured white cane sugar, overripe fruits (a bit of banana oil + pineapple), boiled soy beans, and a tinge of floral scent... Predominantly sweet overall, showing a one-sided aroma tainted mainly by candy sugar, I think.
T: an intriguing and pretty quiet foretaste of sour fruit esters with hints of prunes, melons, citrus-peels, and a milder input of grainy malts slowly turns dry-ish on the palate with obvious, benign influence of hops in the end, rendering a lingering, semi-chewy undertone.
M&D: soothing streams of microscopic carbonation ensure a refreshing palate and soften sip by sip, against a light body, a clean palate, well-hidden alcohol, and a quite simple flavour profile. Overall, not a bad Blond to taste and indeed an easy-drinking one, but this light-weight beer surely can't hold one's interest for too long.

Bottle picked up at Carrefours-Spa. What this beer lacks in aroma, it makes up for in taste. Nice silky mouthfeel, and tangy citrusy taste. Delish! Produced by Brasserie de Bellevaux.

Nice looking beer. Very pale gold and a sizeable head. Very stiff looking. It slowly fading irregularly leaving hills and craters. It left cottony rings around the glass with each sip. Very citric aroma. Chalky esters, dry maltiness. Bright flavor matches appearance. Easy-drinking and kind of fun for the style, but it seems to have been filtered or at least not bottle conditioned and I think the complexity suffers from this.
