16.5 oz can with a drink by 05/20/2013 date.

Pale straw in color with an inch of white head. Just a bit of cloudiness. Nice and fluffy.

Some lemon in the nose. Some mild orange and grassy bits.

Chewy mouthfeel with plenty of carbonation. Almost like a fresh piece of bread. Very light malty notes. Coriander and a soft yeast character followed by just a touch of tartness.

Very refreshing and I could see drinking this again.

Poured from a can on 10 April '16. Use-by date "16/09/11" (I'm assuming the year was first...).

Looked like cloudy lemonade with a bit of a white head. Chunky yeast leavings floating around in there. Nice nose, oranges, some other citrus, maybe candied fruit (or fruit candy). Big blast of sweet fruitiness. Taste was not as impactful - mild, sweetish, fruity, gentle. Pleasant and very easy to drink quickly; you could almost forget it was a beer. Only the slightest bit of acidity or hop flavor, just a tiny zing that fades quickly. Leaves the mouth feeling clean but not parched. Fun, not too serious beer.

On tap at High Dive San Diego, poured into pint glass.

The brew is a straight-up-the-middle example of the style, with notes of orange pith and honeyed biscuits. Refreshing and easy to sip.

33 cl bottle (bb 18062015) into a tulip. Hazy straw color, three finger white head, light lacing and ok retention.

Mild, fresh smell of tart wheat, orange peel and a hint of coriander.

Taste begins with orange and a little sugar, followed by lightly tart wheat and spices, ending with a slightly dry hop bitterness. The aftertaste is spicy, coriander and perhaps clove, and a little orange.

Light body, high carbonation. Overall a refreshing, flavorful witbier. A good summer drink that I would gladly have again, especially on a hot day.

500 ml can poured into a tulip glass.

A- Pale yellow, with a faint brownish hue. Head is white, thin, and leaves a little lacing.

S- Vinous. Mild wheat and toast. Citrus comes out but very light.

T- Mild toast. Mild, nice spice: coriander. Wheaty, and a faint orange peel.

M- Wet, clean, smooth. Very drinkable. Wheat may add some body/creaminess.

O- Wheaty. Spices are subtle and not overpowering. Feel is great.

16.5 oz can into a teku.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy straw color. It's one of the lightest shades I've seen short of a light lager. The head is three fingers high, and white in shade. Fluffy and dense, it caps off this beer beautifully. On the other hand, sediment strands in the body tank the score significantly. (2)

Smell: Fairly typical of a witbier, the dominant notes are candied sugar and orange peel. I don't seem to get much coriander or other assorted savory spices. Not bad, but the nose isn't far off from something like Blue Moon (better than Shock Top, though!) (3)

Taste: The flavor is mild. I get hints of candied sugar and orange peel to start. What redeeems this slightly is how the finish is slightly bitter. Otherwise, this is a dead-simple, boring witbier with little character. (2.75)

Mouthfeel: Light in feel, but the slight astringent finish slows down drinkability some. On the plus side, the doesn't have excessive lingering sweetness, so I can will this down easily. Carbonation is fairly low for the style. (3)

Overall: Meh. It isn't bad, but I've definitely had far better witbiers - Allagash White this is not. It just lacks in character, and since it isn't dirt-cheap like Blue Moon, I won't buy this again. (3)

2.84/5: Not necessarily like a can full of what Manneken Pis would actually whiz out...but not far off

Presentation: 11.7 oz brown bottle with no freshness date.

Appearance: Cloudy pale yellow (yeast was decanted also) with a spritzy white lace.

Smell: Mellow orange with some peel, mild coriander, a little lemon and some faint spiciness.

Taste: Lightly crisp in the light to medium body with a pleasing fruitiness of orange, coriander, hint of pineapple, and light lemon. A touch of herbal hop and a pinch of yeast add to the complexity. Soft malty sweetness and subdued grain come through at the end ... they dry and linger with a fading lemony flavour.

Notes: A very delightful palate of complex flavours, an ease to drink ... enjoy this fine creation.

Bottled (small) version, Fresh according to the best before info on the rear label, after allowing this one to warm up a bit (15 mins out of the frig) and a decent rolling on its side, the wit pours out cloudy light dull banana, initially under a large white, fine bubble head, that lookis like it wants to create some merangue, but then doesn't. Leaves some thick lacing, and the bubbles keep on rising. Nose wiff is softly of fresh fruits and candi sweetness. pretty typical wit notes, sweet, light fruits, "creamsicle" ice ceam pop memories come to mind. Slightly more watery then I would like in the mid section. Light peppery spice late, soft on the tongue and then a lingering mildly dry finish, with just a hint of hop dryness. Not bad, but nothing special IMHO, delicate, subtle, understated,oh so Belgian. Nice to try and compare to more robust American takes on the style.
Obviously the label art is a winner with me...
