When I popped the wire-reinforced cork, the smell was the first thing that hit me. Its a little like a traditional American Lager, but the fruits begin to over power that as you pour it. The color is a darker orange with a little head which dissipates in only a few moments. The taste is overwhelmingly fruity... a whole potpourri seems to emerge when you hold it in your mouth. The after taste is like the of a grape juice, with a solid lingering of only a few distinct fruits. Its a very drinkable beer thats made for the summer weather, and will accompany any hot day.

Bottle: Poured an yellow color beer with a huge head with super great retention (head even stick to side of glass after each sip). Aroma is malty with some sweetness and some yeast in the background. Taste is very refreshing with some good malt surrounded by a light spice mix and some yeast in the finish. Would probably have enjoyed it even more if there had been more spices in the mix – it king of ends up being a light saison. Still very refreshing and enjoyable though.

It is a clear dark gold in color with a thin creamy, white head and a little lacing. There is some citrus spice and hops in the aroma. The body is firm with a toffee-like maltiness. It is crisp and clean with a refreshing citric finish. A very nice summer beer.

Sampled the 75cl bottle...

Appearance: pale golden color, very slight haze, a narrow layer of bubbly off-white foam w/ OK head retention, vapid looking

Aroma: wheat, malt, cotton candy, green pears, almonds

Flavor: toasty malt flavor, peanut shells, slight tang, passion-fruit in the background, mild hop flavoer and a nonexistant bitterness, not much here, malty aftertaste

Mouthfeel: medium body, tepid carbonation

Overall Impression: Pretty disappointing even considering that I had a pretty low expectation for it. A bit watery and one-dimensional. Not fit for inclusion in one of my favorite Belgian beer styles. Even after swirling up the dregs and dumping it in, the beer is still quite boring.

Amber, white foam, some big bubbles, with not a very good appearance.
The beer is very clear and limpid.
Smell: malt, spicy, candy sugar, orange peel, pepper, and others spices. Maybe an hint of cherry?
At the taste it is quite oily, with a full taste. MAybe lightly sour and citric.
An hint of smoked. The background is malty, round and full.
Medium body, adequate.
Spicy aftertaste, but even some hop that come back.
Good saison.

Nice one. Yeasty, peppery, orangey, lemony, spicy, marzipan. Nice lightly creamy mouhtfeel. Dry, with a mild bitterness on the finish, tasty saison. To add to the fact that it tasted good, the mouthfeel was sharp, yet soft and at the same time, went went my steak and frites.

A crystal clear amber color as it sets in the glass, crowned by a majestic head, that is frothy in its consistency, brilliant white in color, after it dissipates the resultant lace a fine covering sheet upon the glass. Sweet malt with hints of pineapple, fresh and crisp, even a touch of orange peel; start is sweetly malt, the top slender in its feel to the palate. Finish is delicate in its acidity with the hops mild and understated, sweet till the end, dry aftertaste, a quite drinkable beer at any rate, have developed a love for these “Saison’s” lately.
