On draft, pours a hazy orange-yellow color, thin white ring of head on the top.
The smell is all citrus, orange, grapefruit, mixed with candied sugar, malt, a little tea leaves and lemon, tropical fruit. The flavor is very robust for a session ale, lots of hop character, orange peel, a little hay, candy, lemon zest. This is really clean and refreshing, good body. I like this one and a nice session offering from them.

On-tap at Metzger Bar and Butchery, Richmond, VA
A: The beer is clear dark yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high off white head that left a thick coating of bubbles covering the surface and the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of caramel malts and citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of citrus along with light notes of caramel malts.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is like a hybrid between a new school and an old school IPA.
Serving type: on-tap

Also clean and bitter earthy citrus, but simpler and a bit more mild than Superb.

Poured from a growler into a nonic pint glass. Dark yellow color. Somewhat hazy. Has a slight citrus flavor and a degree of hop bitterness. For an IPA this one is not overly bitter and makes for an easy drinkable session beer. Given its low ABV and nice hop level, I would recommend this one for those who want to venture into the IPA world. I will most definitely buy this again.
