Pumpkin is made solely with fresh ingredients, spiced and baked in the oven before added to the brew. Enjoy powerful notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and more from the beer commonly described as "Pumpkin Pie in a glass."

Hazy orange color with a nice head and lace.
Aroma of fresh pumpkin spices and bready malts.
The taste was sweet, pumpkin spices, and malts.
The beer was good, but it does contain lactose which in turn allows the beer a smoother, creamier body.
I just think the beer is too sweet, good, but really sweet.
If they dialed back the sugar & lactose maybe I would rate higher.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a burnt orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of pumpkin, light spices. Taste is spices up front, cinnamon in particular, pumpkin is in the background. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Alewerks fall classic! This beer will make you slap your grandma! It’s pumpkin pie in a bottle. Sweeter than typical ales, but so smooth. Looks a darker amber colored and smells just like it tastes.

L: Darkish orange, frothy light tan head, noticeable sediment.
S: Sweet pumpkin & spice (clove, nutmeg) dominate
T: Toasted malts, brown sugar, and of course pumpkin, clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Finishes with a bit of astringent bitterness, I'm guessing from the spice.
F: Medium to heavy body, moderate carbonation, kinda syrupy
Overall pretty solid, tasty, and easy drinking. Just a bit syrupy and sweet to have often or in multiples for my taste.

2022 is rubbish. Flat coke with pumpkin syrup?!
Smells very sweet with hints of spice and of course pumpkin. Taste is a very sweet pumpkin with mediocre spice notes. It’s smooth but a bit syrupy. Too sweet with a mediocre finish laced with spice. More candy and brown sugar than an ale. It’s okay. One and done.
Should not be ranked this high. Go get Southern Tier Pumking or Schlafly. No way Top 10. Lazy.

Gorgeous dark orange amber ale. Minimal lacing which dissipates within a few mins. Medium carbonation. Pumpkin bread on the nose. Taste of sweet pumpkin with strong nutmeg and spice notes....essentially tastes like a heavily spiced pumpkin pie. Great feel and goes down very smoothly. Tricky one with the ABV being on the higher side which is not apparent. It’s not a beer I’d buy a six pack of...but solid as a one-off seasonal as Fall sets in. Personally, I would’ve preferred the spice levels to be dialed down a bit.

Served on tap at Capitol City Brewing. Bright copper in color with an off-white head. Without looking through my history, I'd have to say this is one of, if not the best pumpkin ales I've had. Smooth, medium feel of pure pumpkin pie goodness. Warm without being boozy. Quite excellent

Pours a hazy dark orange from a bottle, with a few fingers of head from a fast pour, fading to a finger or so quickly. Smells a bit like pumpkin pie, but not too sweet. Tastes of pumpkin pie with a bit of sweetness. Not many spice flavors while cold, but the "pumpkin pie spice" flavor comes through more as it warms. Excellent pumpkin ale that straddles the line between pumpkin ale and "pumpkin pie in a bottle."

A slight 1/4 inch of a off-khaki foamthat dissolves down to a thin layer. Coloration is an opaque copper-orange. Bottle says it is like pumpkin pie in a bottle and the scent seems to match that: sweet, creamy, pumpkin, and spiced. Flavor very much matches, with a bit of creaminess, cinammon, and creamy pumpkin pie flavors. Feel is full, a bit chewy, and a bit boozy. Very, very enjoyable and would highly recommend.
