This Belgian-style Witbier is brewed with Coriander and Orange Peel. We took great care to respect the tradition of Belgian brewing when we set out to create this beer.

A cloudy orange-ish hue with a nice head. Crisp and clean smell - the coriander definitely comes across in both scent and taste. Very reminiscent of Namaste from Dogfish. Enjoyable enough.

This was another beer from AleWerks that I picked up in Virginia on my way back home from the West Coast not that long ago. Sure, this was an improvement over Blue Moon but it wasn't enough to knock anyone's socks off, as this turned out to be relatively typical and true to form. Thankfully, no slice of orange was needed to cut this!
As was to be expected, the pour to this was golden, opaque, and topped off with plenty of fluffy head. A good amount of lacing was left behind as well as I worked my way through this. A good amount of wheat and orange was in the nose as they came out more in the taste. A decent, full body and some citrus juice could be felt as well as this tasted more and more lemony once it warmed up. Sufficient on carbonation and just a tad try, this was an easygoing beer that went down easily but not mindlessly.
Of course, this was a session beer as well and had there been another bottle here, I would have opened that next. Now that it's warm and mostly dry, this has been one example of what I love to quaff. Bottled on 1/26 of this year, it held up well and would easily last the summer if I needed it to - not that I'd let it sit for that long!

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: Hazy golden color with a thin white head.
Smell: Cloves, citrus and wheat.
Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth light bodied. Taste of sweeter grassy notes and cloves. Hint citrus and bitter hops.
Overall: Excellent beer. I would have this one again.

Stamped on the right side of the label: "02 22 2017"
Appearance: It has a hazy golden orange colored body with a medium sized white head. The head has a creamy textured surface with a bit of a fluffy appearance. It has moderate retention with some lacing.
Aroma: It has a nice tangy wheat aroma with the scent of orange and coriander. I am really impressed with the aroma because a lot of Witbiers will claim both of those ingredients but they don't actually smell like it. This beer smells great.
Taste: It has a nice soft flavor profile with a light bit of grain flavor and a gentle coriander flavor. It doesn't have that big fresh Witbier flavor but it is nice. There is a light tangy character lurking in the corners of the palate which is nice.
Mouthfeel: It is a bit on the thin side but it has very good carbonation. A light tartness to the beer does a good job brightening it up.
Overall: It started out looking good and smelling fantastic but it doesn't have the flavor or texture to complement it. I would still drink it but it wouldn't be my first choice on the shelf.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Nice color. Not much lacing. The smell and taste were good although this wit is not my favorite.. I enjoy most of the beers brewed by Alewerks and this is no exception.

Look is pale yellow with amber notes and a thin head.
Aroma is funky wheat farmhouse not a clean wheat but it is months old.
First taste I got was a nutty peanut butter ends thin and grassy.
Strange taste and feel not strictly enjoyable but alright.
