A - Dark, nearly opaque brown color with some slight amber highlights when held up to the light. Looks to be either unfiltered or chill haze. Had to do a very rough pour to evoke even a 1/2 inch head that fades pretty quickly. Moderate lacing on the glass.
S - Very sweet raspberry and milk chocolate aromas are evident early on. Some toasted malts weave in too, but are hard to pick out among the strong raspberry. No hop aroma to speak of. Not unpleasant, but different.
T - Tastes like i'm drinking a raspberry fudge sundae! What I got in the nose is even more evident in the flavor profile. Good, but I can't help but feel it's slightly unbalanced. Could use more toasted malt and hop bitterness.
M - Nice carbonation. Very drinkable. Despite the fruit sweetness, it's not cloying. Very refreshing on an unseasonably warm day in early April (compliments watching the final round of the masters quite well).

Dark cola color, basically clear besides a few little chunks. Smell is mostly English hops with dark malts hiding in the background. Tastes tart and bitter with a backing of fruit.. almost tastes spoiled it is so bitter. Thumbs down

My good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego gave me a bottle of this beer. It poured a dark amber with off white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had very nice dark malt with pumpernickel bread highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with dark bread malt base and subtle molasses highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

From old, undated notes; had this on draft.

Nice off-white head; spotty lacing.
Strong nut & chocolate notes in the nose. Nice!
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Nutty chocolate flavor as well. A home run.
