Meh... this is an okay Oatmeal stout. I was surprised how little body feel this beer had. The color and smell were fantastic. The feel of this beer reminded me of the thinness that comes from brewing with extracts versus whole grains (couldn't imagine this being extract brewed). Anyway, the flavor was a solid sweet oatmeal with a little bitter aftertaste. Again, I was a little a taken back as this bottle says oatmeal milk stout and I was expecting something sweeter and thicker. I would definitely recommend trying the beer, but in my opinion, it was underwhelming.

This is a very run of the mill. It has a good nose and a decent upfront taste, but the after taste leaves me lacking and the finish leaves a bad taste in your mouth. You could do worse, but not something I would seek out again.

This beer was devoid of everything. Smell, taste, feel.

I have a feeling the bottle I was served was very old. If not this was the most flavorless and under-carbonated milk stout I have ever had.

Another bottle from the head of the industrial electrical group from Nebraska---THANKS RANDY!

Enjoyed from a 12 oz bottle in a JAFB snifter. Pours a dark black with brown highlights, a quickly dissipating head that leaves a thick ring and light layer of foam with spotty lacing. Nose of dark sweet chocolate, light coffee, deeply roasted malts, and sweet sugars. Flavors follow the nose with dark sweet bakers chocolate to the front and sides, sweet milk sugars to the sides and back, and a light bitter coffee flavor presenting itself on the aftertaste. Finish is a tad watery with little carbonation to the mouth feel finishing a touch dry and moderately roasty. Other than that a solid offering and a first for me from this brewery. Nice.

Cheers

Love this beer. Even better if you get it in their tap room. Good beer to savor with a meal.
