Smell has notions of gin, corn, daffodil and chamomile.

Pours with thinnish head, slightly pale golden color, slight cloud.

Tastes somewhat peppery, white pepper and cigarette ashes accompany a very forward hop bitterness. It's unchained and untethered. Not like malting is lacking but it's taking a way back seat and not making some silly ass attempt to "balance" an IIPA, when clearly this is all about the hop.

Thinnish in the mouth, it drinks like a hop-gin IPA ought to. It's one of those things, when I go looking for it, it's what I want to find. This one does the trick and with panache.

Bottled: unk

It's a hazy amber with a billowy cream top that leaves a ton of lace. The nose is malt, resin, onion, hay, sage, plastic and turned nylon. Flavor is bitter, biscuit, astringent, shitty, shitty beer here. Medium on full bodied with moderately hi carb and a long bitter finish. I've long wondered how Beer Valley has stayed in business, tonight I tried this beer after three years of absence. My suspicion is reignited at this time. Horrible beer.

Grapefruit, ganja, floral, spicy herbal. Sticky resins. Big and bitter. touch of booze and vanilla meld with the toasty biscuit beneath the hops.

medium full body. thick and sticky hop syrup. lower end of carbonation.

big hoppy bitter madness. leafer madness. solid brew. Not as drinkable and a bit thicker than most IIPAs.

On tap at Congregation Ale House in Azusa, CA.

Pours a hazy orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that smells much better than it tastes in my opinion.
