Love the atmosphere here. It has that pub type vibe to it. Small, quiet place. There are plenty of nice T.V.s to watch the game on, a pool table, juke box, etc. Quality and service are both very good, and the staff is friendly. Selection is just o.k. They have mostly BMC on tap, but you will get some nice local favorites as well. Sam Adams, Berkshire Brewing, and Harpoon usually get one or two tap handles each. Harpoon also holds small events here occasionally. I like this place. The atmosphere is just what I'm looking for. It's just a cozy, quiet little bar that sucks you in and keeps you there for a few drinks. Great food too.

I was able to stop here recently while in the area on business.

The place is right on the main street and is split into a separate bar and restaurant area. I had lunch at the bar. Plenty of flat screens and a really nice & relaxed pub feel to the place. Kinda reminds me of an old time "neighborhood" tavern, which I frequented in my youth. The bar maid and servers were all very friendly, and appeared to like working there.

On the beer front, they had about 10 draught lines. BBC (2), OPA-OPA (3) Harpoon, Sam Adams (2), along with BMC products and Bass and Guinness. They also have a rather small bottle list with the usual offerings, including Newcastle Brown. I had a very good Harpoon Red Rye in the 100 barrel series and a BBC Lost Sailor. All were served at a nice temperature in regular pint glasses.

The food was quite good for a tavern. I had a broiled haddock which they custom cooked for me (no butter), with mashed potatoes.

While I would not consider this a beer destination, the feel, food and decent selection of good beers all at a goods price makes it a good stop over for lunch. I will be stopping there again.

This place is deceiving from the outside..doesn't look like much..inside is a nice mix of booths in a nice, pub style atmosphere. The brews on tap include Berkshire, Opa-Opa, Harpoon, etc. The food is an excellent complement to the brews. Squash soup for instance was an offering the night I was there (homemade too!). Our waitress was very polite an helpful. She asked if we needed anything at the proper times. Food selction was very good and very reasonable. I had a burger that was done just right and very raesonably priced. Valu is very good...prices are very reasonable. This restaurant fits well into the "new" Easthampton which is developing some of the fine attributes of Northampton without all the trappings. Definitely worth a visit.
