Appearance: Deep amber with moderate amount of carbonation. Nice one finger beige head that leaves some lace.

Smell: No hop presence on the nose, but some sweeter malt notes of iced tea, apricot and a hint of rye bread.

Taste: The taste falls relatively flat compare to the nose. I would compare this style to a pilsner with more malt presence. It is not bitter, and not too sweet, with a metallic finish.

Mouthfeel: We'll carbonated and smooth. Nice finish that's not too dry.

Overall: Decent beer, probably refreshing on a hot day when you're looking for the beer to quench your thirst. Probably would go with Yeungling however, over this, if I had to choose something similar.

Poured into a Becher glass at Churckey DC. This style of beer is known as a Polotmavy an amber lager from Czech , so Czech pils is only the closest thing I can choose.

A deep chestnut brown body, with crystal clear appearance. Nice tan head presented that settles slowly to a nice collar, with perfect rising carbonation coming through. Great looking beer.

The nose on this beer is unreal. It smells like sweetened teak wood. Woody, malty sweetness and light caramel. Just an amazing combination, with the wood like action going from teak, and cedar with this great malt sweetness.

Palate just delivers in spades. Crisp body, and mild herbal hop. Sweet drinking woody aromas of cedar and teak. Super crackling dry finish of biscuits and splinters. I don't know how else to describe it, with a nice mellow light brown sugar sweetness to match ever so slightly.

This is a style of beer that is just blowing my mind, and I am absolutely in love with this brewery.
