Pours a slightly hazy dark yellow color with what I think was a white head, but as soon as I turned around all the foam was gone. No lacing.

This beer smells foul. Smells like a cream soda poured on a cardboard box. Also has some light fruity green grape and granny smith apple aromas.

Taste is only slightly redeeming on this brew. Cereal graininess and some sort of bitterness, but it is not reminiscent of hops...at all. Watery and pretty much disgusting flavor. Never again.

Appearance is light golden in color with a very thin head. Smell of light malt and honey, not bad. Taste has a slight sweetness, a little bready with an off bitterness, overall taste is a bit thin with a light body. I guess the going rate for this beer is $3.99 a sixer, being that it's what I paid also, and for the most part you do get what you pay for.

My local liquor store was having a sale, selling a six-pack for only $3.99 - bottom line, you get what you pay for. After forcing down one bottle, I started feeling somewhat nauseous, and the bitter, uninviting after-taste made me drive back to the same store and buy some real beer that I could truly enjoy. I ended up giving away the rest of the six-pack to whatever guests I invited over, not wanting to have to suffer putting down another of these pathetic brews. A complete lack of flavor, stagnant bitterness, and a very unimpressive taste had me vowing never to buy this brew again - no matter how inexpensive it was...

12oz bottle from a 6-pk purchased at a Grocery Outlet in north Spokane for $3.99 With this I complete my survey of Grocery Outlet's beer selection.

Poured a hazy pale golden amber color, with a decent sized noisy white head that dropped after a couple of minutes. A white foam ring endured in my Lang Creek pintglass.

The beer smelled of mild bready malts and softly floral hops. Very restrained and not terribly interesting, but not bad, either.

The taste is dominated by a mild, malty sweetness, with a slight bitter dryness at the swallow. Not a whole lot going on in the flavor profile of this beer, but it's a blonde ale, so not a lot was expected. Again, while I could fault the lack of adventure to be found in driniing this, I can't say it tastes bad. In fact I'd say this compares favorably to the blonde ale from Fish I had last night.

Well carbonated, with a light body, which I expected for a beer of this style.

This could work quite well for a cheap lawnmower beer. It's fairly bland but for $3.99 per 6-pk, I can put up with a little blandness from a beer like this on a hot day. I'll bear this one in mind for macro drinking occaisions.

Picked this up recently to broaden the styles of beer that were in my fridge. The only other type I tried from them was their Pale Ale, and at a cheap price, I wanted to give this a go. Sure, it's a relatively local beer, but that's just about the most constructive thing that I could say about this!

The pour was alright - a nice big head was this brew's trademark, but there's not a lot of carbonation here, the lacing is nowhere to be found, and the color is a light amber; just what you'd except from a blonde ale. I'd love to comment on the range of flavors here, but there really isn't any. Sure, it's malty, but the aftertaste has a bit of skunked bitterness to it, and the burnt caramel-like notes here hinder the enjoyment of this beer. There's a bit of a waxiness in the aftertaste as well, but this goes down so easily, regardless of that. I would expect more floral and straw tones here, but as I said before, this is very light and not quite sure what it wants to be.

I paid $3.99 for this, and as much as I was dismayed at the taste, it's much better than any of the macros that I could have gotten for the same price. This beer would be alright for a college party or a light summer day with some other offerings to round out the mix. By itself, it's not worth a try unless you'd like to go a bit out of the way...

Poured a hazy amber color with massive white puffy head that quickly feel leaving modest lacing on the side of the glass. Smell is faintly malty. Taste is a bit fruity tihe a mild hop bitterness at the finish. Finish is more dry than sweet and only acceptable. An OK beer but not much more. What is strange when I see the only reviews posted for the beer are from Oregon and California, and the brewery is very regional in Pennsylvania.

Pours an ultra clear golden colored ale with a fast fading white head.

Smell is malt and grain with DMS and corn scents. Trace of burnt sugar in the scent.

Taste is not much. Dry with a caramel flavor and some herbal hop flavor and mild bitterness. Mild fruity flavor from a British ale yeast I presume. Not offensive but there isn't much flavor here, barely more flavorful than Budweiser.

Mouthfeel is thin.

Drinkable as in being one-step above water. I could see drinking this if it was all that was available, but I would resort to a Heineken first.

Another Pocono beer appearing ,for some unknown reason, in a Salem, Oregon discount grocery store.
Pretty average looking blonde here, that is a warm, clear golden colour with a good sized pure white head.Aroma is pretty subdued even for a blonde, least its not offensive.
However the taste unfortunatlly IS offendsive, its like a plain lager with the stroong taste of burnt plastic throughout..not good at all.
If you can get the horrid taste out of your mind the mouthfeel aint that bad..just not enough carbonation.
Not a great drinker..bad beer, wonder if this is why they send it out here.
