50cl bottle. Pours a hazy straw yellow with a puffy white head that doesn't last, though it leaves nice lacing. Smells of light, sweet malt and plenty of floral notes. A bit of light tartness. Interest taste, with a lot of sugary sweetness contrasting the tart character and herbal/mineral notes. Light-medium body with good carbonation. Too sweet to drink well.

500 ml bottle, from Rúsan, Tórshavn. ABV is 5%. It’s ironic that I had to go to the Faroes to finally buy this - I have passed it in numerous Danish supermarkets, under the delusion that I already had rated it. Well, here we go: Pale golden colour, slightly hazy, moderate to low white head. Grassy and floral aroma, but the elderflowers are not distinct. Refreshing and pleasant flavour, citrussy and floral notes. Low bitterness. Wheaty character, hints of cloves. Not a real masterpiece, but nice and drinkable on a fine summer’s day.

A: The beer is slightly hazy pale light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving a wide collar consisting of large bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of wheat are present in the nose along with hints of elderflowers and lemons.
T: The taste has flavors of elderflowers along with notes of wheat. No spices are perceptible.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I wouldn't call this beer thirst quenching or very refreshing, but it is an interesting take on a witbier that is very easy to drink.

Hazy bright yellow color with a bit of white foam. Aroma is sweet and malty, estery but I don't get the elderflower. Taste is also malty sweet, some floral notes, slight wheat character but again, no elderflower. Overall it's a mediocre witbier, nothing more to say.

330ml bottle - a witbier made with elderflowers.

This beer pours a hazy, pale golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and somewhat creamy eggshell white head, which leaves a few swaths of streaky and chunky lace around the glass as it evenly subsides.

It smells of semi-sweet, bready wheat malt, sort of testy yeast, some lemon and green grape fruitiness, muddled earthy spice, and a pleasant green and mildly estery floral essence. The taste is more rather sweet grainy wheat malt (very cereal-like), a retreating yeastiness, fairly tart fermenting white wine, apple juice, gritty table-top spice, and a still genial elderflower character.

The carbonation is quite laid-back in its lazy summer day frothiness, the body a decent medium weight, and mostly smooth, just a touch of floral edginess tripping up my palate, it would seem. It finishes well off-dry, the base malt, scattered fruitiness, and elderflower freshness presiding in perpetuity.

Overall, as complex as this brew sounds, it's really quite simple and easy to drink, that is if you're OK with flowers instead of hops as your bittering off-set. For this style, it works, combining well with the usual fruit and spice to render a refreshing tipple on another hot and muggy day.

The colour is yellow (5 EBC), the liquid got some chill haze. The two finger head is airy and white; it sinks slowly leaving some lacing on the glass.

The smell is somewhat earthy with some herbs and spices. Some elderflowers and green grapes.

The taste is soda-sweet with passing bitterness and growing fruity notes of elderflowers. Lemonade and green grape juice. Light to medium body. The aftertaste is less sweet with somewhat earthy notes, hints of iron and minerals. Hints of alcohol. Light floral bitterness. The finish is short and sweet with hints of pears and kiwi fruits.

The carbonation is very strong; the small bubbles are long lived. The liquid is semi-smooth.

Well, quite an English ale with balanced notes of elderflowers. A bit too sweet, though.

Brought back from bottle shop in Europe. This offering pours a orange straw color, the nose is sweet, citrus, fruity, grassy, very summer time feel to this beer. The taste is tart on the palate hard citrus bite of orange and lemon followed by a bready, honey sweetness that helps balance this beer out. Overall very solid beer, wouldn't mind drinking this all summer long. Quality offering.
