Even though its a fairly small shop, this is probably the best place with the most selections available in Omaha.

When I go in, I get a cliquey vibe from the staff and some of the regular customers. It can make one feel like an outsider. Also, my enquiries and questions do not always seem welcome.

I've definitely been to places with better selection and service in other cities, but this is the best we got here in Omaha as far as I know, and sometimes they act like they are aware of this so why bother trying?

First time in Omaha and spent a few days there. Wanted to see if they carried anything different the local stores in my city don't. Based on reviews it seemed like this was the place to go.

Walked in saw it was a pretty small space as indicated by reviews. Got a cursory glance from the staff that were busy chatting up friends. Primary selection of beer were the same dominant breweries found in my city but it's a small store so the selection wasn't as varied.

Turns out they do carry a beer I was interested in and after 15 minutes or so of shelf scanning and winding my way through the half dozen customers in the aisles I found it. Rated as a 100 on BA on the bottom shelf near the back of the store. Strange positioning.

Vibe was okay. Quality is decent but not outrageous. Service was non existent unless taking my cash and sending me on my way quickly is considered quality. Selection is okay but if you're from a larger city it'll look similar with less selection.

 

Great peopple and a very nice selection. It is a smaller store, so the selection isn’t absolutely crazy, but I did find a few beers that have been on my iso list for a while. Definitely worth the stop of your anywhere close.

Small store that really packs in the quality. They have a very large selection of imported beer from craft breweries that I've never heard of. They have 5 or 6 beers available for crowler fill. Their mix-a-six section exists but is tiny and didn't have enough local beer for my taste.

 

Probably the best beer store in Omaha. Amazing selection of just about any beer you can imagine, decent selection of limited releases / hard to find beer and made to order Crowlers (Growler meets a can). The staff is pretty friendly once you get to know them and definitely willing to talk about beer with you. This is the place to go for craft beer in Omaha.

 

The best bottle shop in Omaha, and perhaps the state. Service has always been good. They always have a good selection and keep the beers that need to be kept fresh. I like the new crowlers, and they typically have 5-6 options for those. They sometimes do special tastings with the brewers or with reps. Its a part of the Beer Corner USA, and is next to Farnam House Brewing. If you are coming for the first time, make sure your trunk is empty, and plan on half a day to enjoy all this area has to offer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

BEST IN OMAHA! Great selection, prices, knowledge, and it seems most of the times I go in they are having a sampling of something = Awesome! I'd say the only downside is limited space.

Little shop has sort of a convenience store-like feel to it. However, it is a store with a nice selection of all the major releases from a number of craft brewers, national and local, most of them refrigerated. Quite a large selection of imports, as well (some chilled, mostly singles, from what I noticed). Definitely had some large formats, but focus seems weighted towards small format and 4/6 packs.

Staff was nice, offering to help multiple times. Eventually I got to asking for suggestions and was given numerous suggestions, with a description of what I should expect from each offering. Nice little place we'll be sure to visit again in the future.

 

So much awesomeness in such a small space. I want to pick it up and take it home with me.

I am still amazed at how much beer they cram into this tiny shop. Not shit beer either. This is great stuff. The guys know their stuff too, and are great for recommending new beers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Beertopia is an oasis of great beer in Omaha, a place where an outsider may think there won't be any good beer, but would be seriously mistaken. This is not a huge store but has a great selection of beer, including some good midwestern beers that are not available on either coast. The dudes that work in there are very friendly and enthusiastic and have nice beer tastings frequenctly. This store is aptly named given its location, if you happen to be in Omaha and are looking for good beer you'll be very pleased when you stumble into Beertopia.

 

 

 

 

 

 

First time at the store review: staff were friendly in extremely helpful / informative. Helped me and discussed selections to try based on current favs.

Free State sampling rep there at time of visit and with several customers in store, was not impressed with either the beer or the rep.

As a business traveler, value was reasonable to a bit above, but selection surpassed Hy-Vee that I had maxed out on potentially new sampling prospects (so may not be saying much--only time and additional trips to store will tell).

Store is linked to several bar/taverns next door to them, but have not yet "sampled".

Overall, the guys there treated you with respect and genuinely interested in helping you.

Will go again and update review accordingly.
