So, I stumbled upon this place in Coex mall, literally, it just poppd upon me. The establishment was nice, beer was as good as you are going to get in Korea. Asians are not big on beer so do not expect them to know much about beer in general, especially brew from Europe. I ordered what I needed to, had a Newcastle, Guinness, and a Boddingtons and I was satisfied. The service was slow. I ordered fish n chips and man..it took foever but it was good. Very expensive food and beer. Seoul is an expensive place but this was just to much. I have been in Korea for two years and things are just not directed toward customer service here. Do not expect prompt, accurate service. The language barrier is tough, not their fault I dont know Hangul but speedy, accurate service should be present regardless of location. It took forver and there was only 4 of us in there.

O'Kim's is an oasis for craft brew lovers stuck in a land where the locals pollute all of their beers with so much rice; you might as well be eating a bowl of Rice Crispi’s... Anyhow, O'Kims is a mixture of a German/Irish theme, but their brews revolve around German styles. They offer Dunkel, Helles, and Hefe. I chose the latter and it was a good specimen of the category. The beer is ultra pricey, as well as the cuisine. The menu is a mixture of German/Korean and again, it is a bit expensive as well. The brewpub is located within the Coex Mall, which can be accessed off of highway 1, or by the train stop nearby. Again, this is a decent place to wet your palate if you’re stuck here in South Korea with no craft brew, but a bit expensive.
