Had on tap. Pours clear, gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is pear, mineral, and light grassy hops. Delicate and soft bodied that is slightly bitter. Reminds me of Abita's Restoration Pale Ale. Tasty American IPA, but there are several other IPAs and beers from this brewery that I prefer.

A 750 ml bottle picked up from the brewery in August 2015. Pours a hazy amber colour with a big cloudy white head. Aromas are yeasty with earth, caramel & bread. Taste of bread & caramel with light bitter sweet & light fruit hopped. Finish is dry and moderate with a bitter finish. Overall I really enjoyed this, and could have had a second easy.

A- Tiniest bit of haze to a medium yellow body from the 750ml. A cap rises up to a finger with creamy consistency but only fair retention. One large web sticks to the glass but mostly spotty lace.

S- Spicy and somewhat musty Belgian yeast makes up most of the aroma. Pepper, oranges, lemon zest, herbal Euro hops, earthy and pale Pils grainy tones.

T- Follows the nose but some pale fruit esters come into play with pear and then a hint of apples. Yeast bread. Hop profile is earthy, herbal and then just a bit of citrus. Light maltiness of pale caramel, light candi sugar and cracker grains.

MF- Medium bodied, a bit heavier than expected for the ABV with a foamy and frothy texture. Carbonation on the high side and it all ends with an herbal bitterness.

A solid brew with a fairly even balance of hops, yeast and malts. Herbal and earthy hops atop pale cracked grains with a base of spicy Belgian yeast.
