Dark body and a splattering of tan head
It Smells like a good port
& the flavour is so complex & complimentary
candied peel, liquorice root & Sherry

This beer is pretty much too good for my feeble command of language

This is the best quad I've had

Poured a brown body with minimal head and lace.
Aroma is mostly comprised of dark fruits with raisins and figs coming to the forefront along with some sugary sweetness.
Smooth, medium bodied, the beer has a sugary sweetness to it that is a little stronger than found in Quads (no complaint from me). The raisins/figs/dark fruit tastes are there as well and it's a well-balanced and easy drinking beer that hides the ABV.
Maybe a tad too sweet or simplistic for some people but it hit the spot for me.
