Tap @ Moor, Bristol - Pours dark brown with a medium tanned foamy head. Medium carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma - rich caramel, dark fruits. Taste - dark fruits, toffee, caramel notes, light yeasty notes at the back, dry bitter finish with some alcoholic warmth. Lovely strong Belgian ale.

Dark brown, small but creamy light beige head. Lingers a long time, too.
Smell like spongecake, caramel, bits of chocolate and lots of dried dark fruit (date, raisin, fig), really nicely spiced (clove, ginger, cinnamon, orange peel), with a light syrupy edge. Just a bit of alcohol.
A lot of juicy dark fruit in the taste, really a lot, but there's something new too! Fig, raisin, really juicy plum, some cherry, some red apple jam, yes, but a nice tropical hint, some clear pineapple (and peach) syrup, even some mango jam. Lots of citrus peel too, just a bit bitter. Almost bubblegum. Sweet caramel maltiness, not much else in this department. Light spicy yeasts (pepper, clove). Finishes with just a tiny bit of hop.
Still, the aftertaste isn't unbearably sweet, probably because it's just so damn fruity. Add a bit of earthiness, but just a bit. Medium body, low carbonation, slightly sticky, nicely coating the palate. Not detecting any unwanted alcohol.
A really tasty sweet treat, great during the winter. A really unique quad.

Poured on tap into an elongated tulip glass at Maxs tap house in Baltimore.

A very light brown and orange amber body. Easily one of the lightest Quads I've ever seen. No head presented but a light tan collar. Some very small and very minimal carbonation. Not sure where this is going.

Nose is extremely closed, not getting much off of this. A little brown spice peaks out and a little light caramel.

Taste is extremely velvety. Palate leaves with the most perfect maple sugar bent i have ever had. With the mix of Belgian like candi on this it is a great compliment. With some warmth, mild raisins come out with a caramel sense taking over.

By far the easiest drinking quad I have had to date.
