Poured from fridge temp, but allowed to warm over 30 min. Pours a dark brown, burgundy color. Nose is heavy on oxidation. I think 4 years has been a bit too much for this bottle. Also getting rye, paper, wood, bread, and wheat. Taste is oxidation, rye, leather, tobacco, horse saddle, caramel, and bread. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with no alcohol apparent. Overall, this is a nice beer that has too much age on it. Great experience.

Murky brown color with beige head. Aroma is slightly acidic with dark fruits, mostly dark cherries. There is also a slight sweetness from the bourbon barrels. Taste starts on the sweet side with a bit of dark sugar, belgian yeast esters and some bourbon. Finishes more bitter with dried fruits like raisins and figs. Body is quite light and effervescent. Overall it's an interesting combination. Tripel meets bourbon barrel. It lacks a bit of depth and complexity though.

Pours copper with a large, mousse-like head.
Nose shows golden syrup, dates, raisins, soft vanilla and brown sugar.
Flavours include balanced brown sugar, soft oak, a touch of booze and spicy bready notes.
