Clear orange-red pour with no head. Aroma of bread, caramel, honey, and some spice. Sweet taste with honey, and caramel with some bread and toasted malts. Nice.

What a surprise. A brew I have not tried before. Goes to the top of my list which means it is in my top twenty. 12 oz. bottle went down fast. Have to get more before it runs out. The most surprising fact for me was the smootness from a bottle beer.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/20/2016. Pours slightly hazy medium orange/light copper color with a 2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of honey, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. A bit of fruitiness, but not too much. Taste of big honey, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of honey, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, pepper, grass, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeast notes present. Slight dryness from bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is a very nice Bock style. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Rich on malt complexity, with balancing noble hop character. A very enjoyable offering.
