Notes: From mild to wild this one’s the perfect companion for whatever you’re up for. Crisp wheat smoothness gives way to a touch of coriander snap and a kiss of sweet orange peel perk that lingers on your lips. With a beautiful cloudy golden hue and ample head this one makes you love her more with every pour.

One of my personal favorite wheat beers, and beats out some of the fan favorite macros like blue moon. This was the first beer I tried from Atwater Brewery, and I was definitely impressed. It has a strong wheat and malt flavor, with just enough hops to keep you interested. I highly recommend you try it!

Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) bottle into a Stange glass at Bravo Cucina Italiana in Ann Arbor, Michigan
A: Pours an increasingly hazy (actually clear at first), dark golden color with a one finger, off-white head, rapid resolution to rim retention, but decent rings of complex lacing.
S: Aromas of orange, caramel, and coriander.
T: Semisweet. Flavors follow the nose fairly closely. Rather saline to my palate, perhaps enhancing the flavor. Low bitterness gets out of the way of the other flavors.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Effervescence seems low for the style.
O: Refreshing and enjoyable, if not overall complex or hearty.

I had this beer this past summer. This beer is very easy to drink because it's very light but tasty. I would definitely recommend this beer if you enjoy light beers.

Refreshing is a good way to put this beer into perspective. This one has a very wit feel to it, the nice part is that it does not try to do too much. Orange and citrus under tones bring out the wit flavoring, this keeps the beer crisp and clean tasting.

Overall, this is a somewhat "meh" lifeless offering compared to some others I've had. "Yeomanlike" comes to mind. It has a nice crisp finish, but the aroma and flavor are pretty bland.

DATE: July 15, 2017... OCCASION: playing a family-wide game of Monopoly... GLASSWARE: Ommegang Rare Vos shaker... appears a slightly hazy, light straw colored body... small, lazy bubbles formulate an off-white head that taps out quickly... light bill of lemon, wheat, and pear--slightly astringent and not offering much in the way of the promised orange peel or coriander... light,, watery, a bit oily...like a white wine spritzer without the refreshing payoff.... more like a flat cream soda... cider-like apple brisk pepper, light wheat, soft orange peel, and cracker malts keep some of the low-end appeal... this is one that tastes as I remembered it did the last time--advertising as a summer beer, but like the label's suggestive lady, more trouble than it's worth, and not nearly as refreshing... sad when the remainder of a six-pack presents itself as a burden...

The appearance had a clear yellow body with a one finger white foamy head that concaves a bit and softly clings to the edges, nice lookin’ filmy head of a valley appears after a minute. Some carbonation is seen rising. The smell was a light citrus, lil’ bit of bubblegum but really subdued, light wheat. The taste took all of the previously mentioned flavors combined nicely, sweet sticky aftertaste and finish. The palate was light and sessionable. Carbonation seems a bit under-carbonated for the style but actually I think I’m starting to like my APWA’s this way, becomes a bit smooth and creamy. Overall, actually, I think I like this one, it would be great on a hot summer day.

Had this on 2017-05-22 in Columbia, PA from a 12oz bottle

A - Lightly-hazy gold with a 1/2-finger white head and light lace.

S - Quite bready, with some grassy/herbal spice and also floral. Smells somewhat like a Czech Pils

T - LIghtly-toasted wheat bread topped with a thin film of orange marmalade and corriander. Light bitterness provides a nice balance in the finish.

M - LIght body and medium carbonation.

O - Easy-drinking, refreshing summer ale. Uncomplicated but satisfying and kudos for the lowish ABV.

Very good beer, one of my personal favorites. It is an unfilterd wheat ale, so be sure to tilt the bottle over and give it a good whirl to stir it up before enjoying. Has a good orange zest, finished by a nice tang. I'll keep this as my go-to.

I like it. I'm not a snob, I just like things that taste good. This is a nice refreshing summer bbq sort of ale. Orange and coriander are pretty apparent.

Very light, pretty watery, but definitely a good enough beer for summer. Pours a foggy orange color. Not much aroma. Enough citrus flavor to give it that crisp, refreshing taste.

Very pale yellow, no head. Not much aroma, slight citrus. Taste about the same, slight sweet and citrus. Very thin/watery. Probably be a decent hot day beer. Not much better then coors light.

Dirty Blonde is a great summer beer and the slight citrus flavor is just right in my opinion - not to much, not to little. Taste wise it's not as bitter as Oberon, but a little less sweet than Shock Top.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy gold color.

Overall: The aroma is of light citrus and light wheat. Taste of lemon, orange peel, coriander, wheat, bread, herbal and light pepper. Slight earthy herbal bitterness on the finish. Good balance and robustness of malt, spice, and hop flavors. Very easy drinking, summer beer.

Similar to Blue Moon, just not as good. Pours a hazy straw golden with dissipated white head. Aroma is spicy with citrus. Flavor is pretty decent, very drinkable, with slight sweetness of malt and orange. Finish is fairly clean and dry, but just too low abv, and thus watery.

Bottled on: 8/2015.

Pours a murky orange with a foamy beige head that fades to nothing. Tiny dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Small chunks of sediment sink to the bottom of the glass after the pour. Smell is of wheat, dried orange peel, spice, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, dried orange peel, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer that is drinkable, but nothing really stands out about this one.

Serving type: bottle.

Not my favorite beer. It has a citrusy tingle that feels a bit out of place in a beer. It doesn't taste great in cold weather, but it's a nice change of pace from the red ales I usually drink.

BEtter than that of a macro brew. Pours dirty golden, not clear at all. Smell of orange and spices. Citrus dominates the taste with some spices on the back end. Wheat malt notes are present as well. This style isnt really my thing, and I am not sure this is a great representation of the style either. A little light, A little flat, a little artificial.

Pours a pale amber. Leaves a fizzy white head that left no lacing behind.

Smell is subtle, but mostly coriander takes up the entire aroma.

A very weak malt is overshadowed by coriander notes. The end has a minor citrus sweetness which is quickly swept away. No bitterness to be had, finish is a little dry.

Light bodied, thin and watery, leaves clean and crisp.

A pretty poor beer, but drinkable.

Another surprising beer that I wasn't expecting.
Such a refreshing taste, perfect for summer. About a 1 inch head, one finger. Lots of carbonation flowing continuously.
A light and spicy beer could easily drink three or four of these on a hot summer day.

I drank it from the bottle, so I can't comment on the look.

It has a citrusy/orangeish smell mixed with a light beer fragrance. Light beer taste, with a heavy citrus flavor.

Good on a hot summer day, and for those who might not like beers.

Frankly, this reminded me of Blue Moon, though with a cloudier and slightly darker look. I bought this in a mix 12 pack in MIchigan and was disappointed in the collection as a whole. The orange taste was not particularly potent to my tastebuds.

Just cannot handle the sweet, nauseating (coriander and orange) flavor profile of this beer. Not as bad as Blue Moon, but close. I guess I am just not a fan of this particular iteration of a wheat ale.

12 oz bottle poured into a stange glass. The aroma is light, mellow, floral, biscuity, and waxy with a touch of coriander and citrus. There's a light haze to the orange yellow beer, topped with a white, filmy head that has moderate retention and lace. The taste is a medium sweet and medium light bitter. It's thin and oily with a fuzzy carbnoation and a medium body. The flavor is a bitter, spicy orange with a moderately lengthed finish that's zesty with a honey sweetness and leads to an aftertaste that's lightly waxy with bread notes.
