Absolutely love this beer. I drink this very often with my family since it is my mother's favorite. Great beer during the summer, really tasty and flavorful. Very citrusy and tastes great with an orange slice.

Dirty Blonde is a great summer beer and the slight citrus flavor is just right in my opinion - not to much, not to little. Taste wise it's not as bitter as Oberon, but a little less sweet than Shock Top.

This one pours a perfect blonde color with a thin and rich white head. The head settles leaving a thin lace.

The nose is earthy and grassy with hints of bread, camphor and apples.

The taste is peppery hops n a dry malt bed with some pine, lavender and vanilla in the mix.

The mouthfeel is rich and satisfying with this particular style.

Overall a very drinkable and enjoyable beer.

Poured into a "weizzen" style glass, though this beer is an American Wheat, but the glass fits the style all the same.

Pours a two finger head and retains a nice luster. Color is exactly what I want to see from this style of beer. Hazy, cloudy and sort of deep lemon yellow.

It has a nice mouthfeel, an orange coriander flavor that is long lasting, about halfway into the beer i'm feeling like I will drink another after I gulp the rest of this down.

Look: hazy bright gold
Smell: citrus, earthy, spice, bread
Taste: a tad malty, light peppery taste, definitely taste the citrus, tad grassy
Aftertaste: a bit of a light hop aftertaste due to the citrus and lighter tones
Overall: pretty okay, would have again

12 oz bottle poured into a pilsner - fridge - 2009

Appearance: Pours a golden yellow color with lots of freely flowing carbonation. A 1.5" white head builds and shows great retention. No lace remains behind.

Smell: Wheat, coriander, fresh flowers, and not very much beyond that. No noticeable hop aromas.

Taste: Sweet orange and coriander bring about a subtle spiciness. A sweet initial wheat flavor turns into a buttery, creamy wheat malt flavor. it's enjoyable how the beer plays out from start to finish. It definitely lives up to the name Dirty Blonde where it starts out light and fresh then turns so buttery.

Mouthfeel: Sweet, fresh, but also creamy in the finish. Plenty of carbonation with no alcohol burn at all. Wheat finish.

Drinkability: A great session beer. Not a mind-blowing beer, but it sure is smooth, tasty and easily approachable. A sizer would go down easily. Worth seeking and trying.

I like it. I'm not a snob, I just like things that taste good. This is a nice refreshing summer bbq sort of ale. Orange and coriander are pretty apparent.

Beer from the D. Pale light yellow with a fizzy head throgh out. Aroma of orange citrus and fanit spice notes. Fresh grain malt summery flavor. It is like a tasty verson of a lager. An easy session beer. A decent drinkable beer to enjoy at a Tigers baseball game.

The label has a mm/yy 'Bottled On' indicator. I was able to find an Apr '15 in Columbus, OH, on April 24, 2015. The beer poured into a pint glass with a very thin head, however, it was consistently fed with many streams of small, bubbly carbonation.

The orange is very prevalent, and the coriander is not overdone. I will definitely buy again!

Pours cloudy yellow with white head that fizzles down to a thin cover.

The smell is of orange, tart lemon, coriander/black pepper, some apricot/peach, with some lightly toasted bready.

The taste is of tart lemon/orange. A malty backbone gives a touch of sweetness with a bready, spicy dry finish.

The body is light. Carbonation is on the border of prickly and effervescent (despite not seeing much bubbles).

The other beers I've had from this brewery have had a tart/sour undertone. Maybe because of the style, it works well here. It's an American Pale Wheat with wit spicing, that works well here. A refreshing summer-time brew!

Similar to Blue Moon, just not as good. Pours a hazy straw golden with dissipated white head. Aroma is spicy with citrus. Flavor is pretty decent, very drinkable, with slight sweetness of malt and orange. Finish is fairly clean and dry, but just too low abv, and thus watery.

Very light, pretty watery, but definitely a good enough beer for summer. Pours a foggy orange color. Not much aroma. Enough citrus flavor to give it that crisp, refreshing taste.

Poured from a brown 22 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts, a touch of wheat and oranges. Taste is good, orange, coriander, very refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall this is a highly enjoyable summer time beer.

I like this and didn't think I would. Smells like cheap beer, but is smooth going down. Mellow flavor, this would be a great beer for newbies. Not the best I've had, but not a bad choice if you want something lighter.

This ale comes out of the tap a hazy light golden yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is not strong but fairly wheaty and appealing. Flavor is firm and wheaty with a good citrusy, mainly lemony, undertone. Texture is fairly smooth and quite fizzy.

On tap at the Waterfornt Ale House, Brooklyn, New York.

Poured a hazy dark straw hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was decent retention and good lacing.

The smell featured light coriander, orange and wheat zest.

The taste consisted of a soft wheat malt, some yeast esters and a subtle coriander spice.

The mouthfeel was toward the thinner side of the style and a touch more carbonated.

Overall a decent wit. What it lacks on complexity it makes up for in drinkability.

The beer pours a hazy gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a light pale wheat scent along with a bit of coriander and orange peel. It's refreshing with a citrus edge. The taste is decent as well. It has a dry wheat malt flavor that's light and easy drinking. It's quite citrusy with just a hint of coriander. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a medium bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a pretty good drinker. It's on par with Coors' Blue Moon.

Trying the Dirty Blonde...that's how I like my blondes!!! Anyway...the beer pours a cloudy yellow with thin white head that is not lacing. The smell includes orange zest and floralness. The taste carries much the same as the smell but has a nice wheat base to it. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with decent carbonation. Overall it isnt a bad beer.

Another surprising beer that I wasn't expecting.
Such a refreshing taste, perfect for summer. About a 1 inch head, one finger. Lots of carbonation flowing continuously.
A light and spicy beer could easily drink three or four of these on a hot summer day.

Not my favorite beer. It has a citrusy tingle that feels a bit out of place in a beer. It doesn't taste great in cold weather, but it's a nice change of pace from the red ales I usually drink.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled in 9/2014. Pours lightly hazy bright golden color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, coriander, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, straw, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, spice, and earthy hop notes; with decent strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, coriander, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, straw, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Slight earthy herbal/spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, coriander, wheat, cracker, bread, straw, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good balance and robustness of pale malt, spice, and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a very solid spiced pale wheat ale style. All around good balance and robustness of pale malt, spice, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

From a bottle to a pilsner glass.

A: light gold very transparent. Light wispy head and no lace

S: strong citrus aroma to this one like oranges and grapefruit

T: not as flavorful as the smell might indicate. Still picking up citrus notes but it's mild enough that it's hard to pick out which fruit.

M: light mouthfeel, very easy to drink.

O: A sold beer if you have been working outside all day and need a refreshing brew. Of you looking for a flavor bomb try something else.

Fruity malty nose, some spice, orange
Hazy gold, 2” off white head dissipates to a film
Palate: a mixed bag blend of Kolsch and Belgian Wit that gets confusing. Has the orange and coriander but not the yeast character of the Wit, has a hint of Kolsch yeast, and enough wheat to evoke an American wheat ale but the result does too little with too much.
Medium to a little above on the carbonation, medium body.
