I love the Redhook brewery so this might be a little biased but I will also be as honest as possible. This place is located right off of I-95 in Portsmouth, NH and is very easy to get to from both the North and the South.
The brewery is identical to the one in Washington(I haven't been to that one though) and is the safest place in NH during an earthquake. The best part of this place is the tour. It is the best tour I have been on. It is one dollar but even this can be avoided by cutting out a coupon on a Redhook 12 pack or printing out one from http://www.redhook.com/brew_internet_promo.html
The tour is pretty informative despite the unimpressive brewhouse. It is a German system that is entirely automated and thus you just see the tops of six tanks with little placards on them. The bottling line is cool as is the kegging area.
Of course this all pales compared to the tasting session. You try all of Redhook's beers: the Blonde, ESB, IPA, Widmer Hefeweizen, Nitro, and Seasonal.
The tasting glass is yours to keep and this all caps a wonderful time.
The Cataqua Public House is a nice place but has a laidback scene with an older crowd. It is usually not very busy and the service isn't great. The food however is excellent. The beer is a bit pricey considering its ten feet away but so fresh that its worth it. On nights with special events the place gets way too crowded and isn't much fun.
All in all I recommend the tour and staying for a bite to eat. Try the teriyaki steak tips or the hefeweizen chicken. Cheers!

Stopped in for a quick beer and lunch. All Cisco Brewing offerings, no Redhook. They had a couple of "small batch" beers on tap. Also had distillery options.
Spacious area.
Chicken quesadilla was great.
Service was superb.

Upscale restaurant with a full selection of Redhook & associated brews. Server was attentive, enthuastic & knowledgeable about the beer. A nice well rounded menu but could use more options like salad or burger toppings.

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The food is ok, but the beer makes up for the subpar food. All in all a good place to visit
