In the area, dining across the street, so what the hey. Free parking lot behind the block, with a walkway along the east side of the building. I think walking down the street outside was more interesting than my experience at this bar.

Small bar for 10-12 up front, standard restaurant table seating in the front and back. Tables were plastic with wood laminate booths, which seemed more suited to a fast food chain. This is in fact a west suburban restaurant chain with 4 locations.

Beer selection was average to mediocre, with Goose Mild Winter, Two Bros. Cane & Ebel, Bells Winter White, and Lagunitas IPA being the leading craft options. They also had DFH 60 min., Anchor Steam, New Belgium, and a few other forgettable drafts. Dos Equis and Modelo (in fancy stemmed glasses) to pair with the tex-mex food. Bartender was competent, but the frozen pint glasses here didn't score any points. Overall a Mexican restaurant with a few decent taps, what you see is what you get.

Walk a block down to Jackson, and around the corner for a better beer selection at the Grumpy Bulldog.

Edit: Noticed they had a better draft list in recent years, bumping up selection score.

This is a grreat place to go if you have kids. Having said that, if you don't have kids and are easily annoyed by them, maybe stay away because the entrance will take them right behind your bar stool. Now, since I do have a child, I love this place because I can have a couple beers and not feel like a bad parent for bringing my kid to a "bar."

The sellection, while somewhat limited by the size of the place, is good. They have Lagunitas Zephyr, a SMALL batch imperial common, on tap now as well as Two Brothers Hop Juic, two beers from Finch Brewing and also Green Flash and Three Floyds. Specials every day.

Oh, and the food. Its good too.

typical american-style mexican restaurant in downtown napertucky. much better than the place down the street, as there are some decent beers available. 13 taps, 8 of which were craft. two hearted, oberon, lagunitas pils, and dfh 60 min among them. bottle selection is limited. no beer list. unfortunately, the pint glasses are frozen. the manager-type guy behind the bar said they used to have an large bottle selection. he seemed to know a bit about beer but not so much, and he was also a bit snide about beer geeks, but nice. the rest of the staff looks typically clueless about beer. but a good place to stop in if you're stuck in downtown naperville looking for a draft beer.

Stop in here when I find myself in Naperville. Nice clean little Mexican joint with a decent sized bar when you walk in the door. The seating area is the back half of the restaurant. I believe this is mostly a bar with a kitchen. Stays open till one or so in the morning. 10-12 taps on the wall with most of them being craft. There's a few craft bottles in the cooler but nothing hard to find or even that good really. Some of the tap selections were good including DFH 60 and Anchor Liberty.

A good stop if you're in Naperville, and surprisingly the only bar I've been to in Naperville with any kind of craft selection at all. Worth stopping in for a pint or two. Prices are reasonable.
