look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.5

Appearance: amber in color with a nice 2" head that lasts a bit. Some moderate lacing develops during the session.

Smell: malt sweetness rises from the glass and into the nose.

Taste: big malt flavor with some softer fruit sweetness, moderate bitterness, and a hint of earthiness.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp at the start, smoother towards the finish.

Drinkability: superb sessionable altbier for me. Nice malty goodness is a nice change up from some other hoppy beers I had earlier in the day.
