Pale yellow with white head. Lots of bubbles.
Some Belgian yeast on the nose.
Tastes of citrus pepper coriander wheat Typical Belgian style with extra carbonation. The 8 % ABV is quite present and warming.
Pleasant enough and reasonable price. Easy to drink, nice balance of sweetness and hops. Head is persistent.
This beer is brewed by Le cheval blanc under licence from Achouffe. There is also a darker version. Worth a try if you like the style.

Nice blonde color with lots of carbonation and a 1-inch head with some lacing. Smell of hops and wheat with some spices too. Taste like a spicy witbier if you want. Nice citrusy taste and good hop flavours too, lots of spices also. Not a bad beer but pretty sure it ain't as good as the original (that I haven't tasted yet sadly.)

Slightly veiled almost golden color with a thick white sparkly 2 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with some good legs.

Aromas of citrus, sweet grains, and metal. Flavors of citrus like lemon, smoky corn, roasted grains, coriander, slight fruity ester, herbal spices. High syrupy sweetness. Strong adjunct roasted corn taste.

Slick medium body with prickly carbonation. Medium strength finish, ending with a vinous fruity citrus feel and harsh bitter spices.

Overall an average failed copy of La Chouffe : Unpleasant flavors, a little flat and missing the nice freshness of a good Belgian Ale. Warming but boozy. Badly spiced.

Blonde D'Achouffe from the Brasseur RJ

The look of it : A nice Golden Orange color. Lots of carbonation. Not even half od a finger of head

The smell of it: Remind me of the Hoegaarden. But way more spices to it. Can also smell a stronger presence of Alcohol

The taste of it. Like the smell some spices. A touch of orange. Some citrus with a touch of banana on the after taste. A good balance of the Alcohol. The feel is also nice inside the mouth

So overall would I recommend it ? Sure, this is a well made beer. Can t go wrong with this one.

Appearance: It has a nice hazy golden/orange color to it. It has a nice thick off-white head that dies down moderately and leaves very little lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of Belgian yeast, peppery spices, banana and cloves. (Very Hefe like)

Taste: Like the aromas, it has some definite yeast followed by banana and cloves, some peppery spices and wheat malts.

Mouthfeel: It has a med/high carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with good flavors and aromas.
