Pours a clear yellow with a small and bubbly off white head. Smells very weakly of apple. Taste wise it is rather sweet with very little else going for it. Malts are whispy at best, apple is hiding in the sweetness, and there is no hopping whatsoever. This is a beer experiment gone awry. Don't waste your palate or money. Mouthfeel is akin to water.

Bottle – Poured a blond beer with a nice huge head with standard retention. Carbonation is great with very good aroma of fresh apple with a little note of sweetness coming through. Taste is very refreshing with the apple taste being very noticeable (sweetness coming out at first and then a more acidic taste when the beer gets warmer) and nice mix of malts. Overall, this is a very refreshing beer and I find that to get the best out of this beer you need a fresh batch instead of some bottle that has been lying in some store for six months.

Sainte-Paix Apple Beer. 660 ml brown bottle. Bottle conditioned.

A- Weak head but a ring of bubbles stays as the rest of the head dissappears. Opaque, tropical fruit juice-like sunny yellow orange.

S- Prominent apple. Sour notes. background of yeast.

T- Apple cider front of apple, sour peel. Light flavour overall. Big yeast presence. Touch of mild bitterness from hops towards the finish.

MF- Refreshing and drying. A thirst quencher for a sunney autumn day. Light feel to it, but enjoyable.

D- Very easy drinking. Light character. Refreshing cross between a cider and a belgian style bottle conditioned beer.
