Pours a deep dark color with a medium top of beige head that dissolves slowly.
Aroma is of roasted malts, coffee, bread, some caramel and dark fruits.
The taste is sweet with toasted malt notes allong with notes of coffee. The finish has some slight bitterness. Kind of watery in the flavour. Mouthfeel is crisp but a little thin with a medium carbonation and a light body.
Decent and drinkable, but nothing very interesting about it.

Opaque black colour, slightly lighter than a Guiness, with a faint hint of mahogany around the edges when held up to the light, and a foamy tan head. On the nose Is coffee, raisin, vanilla extract, and chewy brown bread. Unfortunately the taste is quite subdued, and the flavour only lasts about two seconds on the tongue. The balance is towards the sweet side, with the only bitterness coming from the roasted malts, and even that is very subdued. Then again, so is the sweetness. The mouthfeel is slightly thin. Overall, it's a decent beer, not very flavourful, but a bit more interesting than a standard light lager or IPA. There are, of course, much better examples of the style. Only pick this one up if it's cheap.

German Black Lager, as lagers go it’s ok. Not a lot of flavour for me but quite refreshing for a dark beer.

Almost black, beautiful dark mahogany edges. And one finger of good foam.
At the nose some dark malts, and some ( a bit too much) caramel.
Same for the taste.
Not bad, but a bit too sweet. Cappuccino notes, vanilla.
Drinkable, but nothing interesting.

S - Chocolate malt and dark fruits in the back.
T/M - Medium carbonation and bitternes. Decent dark malts aroma. Drinkable but bit watery and thin.

O - Close to be more then decent lager.

500ml can poured into a pils glass by freshness date.

L:
Dark mahogany hue with big fluffy tan head, it has exceptional retention when very slowly dissipates into everlasting foamy layer covering atop with plenty of lacing patches and spots along the glass side.

S:
Dark fruits, bready, caramel, buttery, cocoa, roasted malt, hint of yeast. So appealing.

T:
Roasted and bitterness kick off and take the lead. A bit and quick sweetness derives by malt in the middle while chocolate brings to an end where somewhat charred maltiness and dark fruits together reinforce leaving pleasant aftertaste.

F:
Smooth with medium body, not much of carbonation through the palate, dry finish.

O:
This beer is just like a dessert, straightforward to the style and simply enjoyable, perfect pairing with chocolate also good as individual.

This is a pretty good beer. I got it at a Walmart in China. It is dark, good carbonation and malts. The taste was crisp and the finish smooth. I would have this one again.
