Dark brown with a ruby tinge, filtered with lots of carbonation, topped with 1 finger of beige head.

Smells of toffee, black tea, light fruity esters, dark toasted notes and carmelized sugar.

Dark toasted notes, hints of yeasty dough notes, and a light bitter hop finish.

Medium, bready body, and soda like carbonation.

Found in Perth at some random bottle shop, drinking in Chiang Mai, August 27th 2017. Really well done for the style.

I had a 330ml bottle.
Appearance: pour a beautiful golden tan colour. Small off white head. Very clear.
Aroma: some light malty aroma but not much complexity evident.
Flavour: light bodied mouthfeel. Some limited caramel or toffee flavour a mild finish. A very pleasant drinking brown ale. Well balanced but not overly complex.
Overall: Easy drinking and worth a second or third glass for sure.

From bottle, Aroma malty caramel. Ruby appearance with decent head. Caramel and red fruit tastes with nice bite to palate. All in all a very decent drink.

Appearance -
Clean and clear dark copper colour. Pours a 1cm head which dissipates to a thin off-white film. Some lacing. Little carbonation.

Smell -
Burnt toffee, caramel, plenty of malt and biscuit, red orange. Hops are quite faint. I'm also getting a roast coffee smell which is odd for the style. However, I'm getting a slightly stale water smell.

Taste -
Like the smell, it's quite malty - lots of toffee, caramel, biscuit flavours and a hint of roast coffee and almonds. A little bit sweet. Slight hint of grapefruit and citrus rounds it off. Flavour is slightly watery.

Mouthfeel -
Despite observing virtually no effervescence, there's a bit of fizz on the tongue and a tangy feel. Again, slightly watery. Clean on the way down and the fizz adds a bit of foaminess when swallowed. Not over-carbonated however.

Overall -
The malt flavours are pretty well balanced by the hops. Shame that it's a bit watery otherwise this would have been a cracking brew if the flavours were in full swing. Quite drinkable nonetheless.
