First off I love the town of Ellicottville,I wish I had a cabin or home around there in the winter its a boom town because of the ski resort.Double Diamond is right next door to EBC with a few other bars on the same little side street this would make for an awesome pub crawl. We walked in to a pretty much empty bar except for two guys sitting at the bar,its pretty big with high ceilings with posters of rock bands mixed with beer paraphonalia all over seems pretty old there is a main bar area with another room with tables to the left. The cute bartender was helping herself to many samples of each tap she had quite the gig.The tap selection was well above average with Southern Tier beeing the main focus with 4 taps including the porter, old man winter,IPA,and Phin and Matt's others were Boulder porter,Magic Hat #9,Lost Coast Indica,a amber ale made for Holiday Valley resort(not sure who it was brewed by),and Victory Prima Pils.A few snotty couples came in ordered their vodka martinis before we left and one note he had no idea there were that many different kind of beers....uhhh.When in Ellicottville do yourself a favor and hit more than EBC this place Iam sure is filled with bunnies on weekends.

pretty nice crowd in here, mostly middle aged folk, not enough young girls. pretty mice atmosphere, a couple tv's airing the buffalo sabres game, lots of cool signs and crap everywhere. there was a huge, i mean huge plastic moose head on the wall, a couple snowboards, some beer company banners, a lot of funny little signs, even a grill from the front of someones audi. kept me lookin and laughin. there was a pretty decent band playing that featured a smoking hot milf as their lead singer, singing about 3 feet from my face. very nice. they had a tap selection of about 10 to 13 or so. they had southern tier IPA and porter, EBC winter ale and blueberry wheat, a bunch from magic hat, stella artois, guiness and a couple macros. didnt try any of their food, as their restaurent was closed when i walked in at 11. also, this place is right next door to ellicottville brewing company, which has a much bigger selection of beers brewed on site, as well as some great food. however, at the double diamond, i enjoyed myself a little more, not cause of the beer, but because of the live music and everyone in the place was wasted and dancing and shit. this place was even complete with an old gray bearded village drunk. ellicottville is definately a great place to come and enjoy great beer, and this place is one of the best in town, check it out!
