The Paulaner people seem to be setting up good bars all over Germany. This one is inside a very old building and has been turned into a pleasant dark wooded bar. It looks old and authentic but I don't think the place was originally a bar, there some creative designers about and I just had the feeling this was a good yet fake interior (too perfect). Outside there is seating for twice as many people as you can get inside, so the staff are mostly rushing in and out of the door. The young lady that served us always looked our way as she travelled in and out, to ensure we were OK for drinks.

I had three different draught beers, the normal Pilsner, an O'fest and a Salvator, all in top order.

Most people seemed to be eating and the food looked wholesome and good. One or two old boys were drink litres and really enjoying themselves, great to see.

Stayed on the ground floor and didn't go up, so can't comment on upstairs.
