Had this placed in front of me at the Rock Bottom in Glendale, AZ and the first thought when I saw the name was, "which macro is this gonna be closest to?". In reality, Dream Catcher easily outpaced any of the unholy trinity. Dream Catcher Light Lager had a clear yellow color and a quickly-fading fizzy white head. No lace was left and a decent volume of carbonation was noted.
The smell was sweet, of grassy pale malt, and had some spicy notes to it that made it encouraging to try. The taste was malty with a light amount of corn syrup to boost the sweetness. A modest spiciness crept in at the finish, leaving a subtle bitterness. The feel was light but not featherweight, crisp, and clean. Quite refreshing.
Overall, I'd give this offering from Rock Bottom a thumbs-up. It wasn't overloaded with adjuncts or carbonation and had an good feel that lent itself to being easily quaffed. Beats any B-M-C product hands-down.
